The Man with the Paralyzed Hand

3He told the man with the paralyzed hand, “Stand before us.” Lit Rise up in the middle
4Then He said to them, “Is it lawful Jn 18:31 on the Sabbath to do what is good Ps 34:14; Lk 18:18 or to do what is evil, Ps 34:12-16; 1Pt 3:17 to save life Php 2:12; Jms 5:20 or to kill? ” Lk 20:15 But they were silent. Lk 1:20; 19:40
5After looking around at them with anger Jms 1:19 and sorrow at the hardness Ex 7:13; Rm 11:25 of their hearts, He told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and his hand was restored. Mk 8:25
6Immediately the Pharisees Mk 7:3 went out and started plotting Mt 12:14; Mk 15:1 with the Herodians Mt 22:16; Mk 12:13 against Him, how they might destroy Mk 11:18; Jn 5:18; 6:27 Him.
Ministering to the Multitude
7Jesus Mt 4:24-25; 12:15-16; Lk 6:17-19 departed with His disciples to the sea, and a large crowd followed from Galilee, Mt 17:22 Judea, Lk 1:5
8Jerusalem, Mt 23:37 Idumea, beyond the Jordan, Lk 3:3 and around Tyre Ac 21:7 and Sidon. Gn 49:13 The large crowd came to Him because they heard about everything He was doing.
9Then He told His disciples to have a small boat Jn 21:8 ready for Him, so the crowd would not crush Him.
10Since He had healed Ac 8:7 many, all who had diseases were pressing toward Him to touch Jn 20:17 Him.
11Whenever the unclean 2Co 6:17 spirits Lk 11:24 saw Him, those possessed fell down Lk 8:47 before Him and cried out, “You are the Son of God! ” Lk 4:34,41
12And He would strongly warn 2Tm 4:2 them not to make Him known. Mk 1:34

A House Divided
20Then He went home, and the crowd gathered again so that they were not even able to eat. Or eat a meal ; lit eat bread

24If a kingdom Lk 4:5 is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

33He replied to them, “Who are My mother and My brothers? ”
34And looking about at those who were sitting in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! Ac 9:30
