  • Romans 9:32 - Why not? Because they tried to do it without faith. They tried to be right with God by what they did. They tripped over the stone that causes people to trip and fall.
  • Galatians 2:19 - By the law, I died as far as the law is concerned. I died so that I might live for God.
  • Romans 4:15 - The law brings God’s anger. Where there is no law, the law can’t be broken.
  • Romans 3:28 - We firmly believe that a person is made right with God because of their faith. They are not saved by obeying the law.
  • Acts 13:39 - Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin. Moses’ law could not make you right in God’s eyes.
  • Galatians 2:16 - Here is what we know. No one is made right with God by obeying the law. It is by believing in Jesus Christ. So we too have put our faith in Christ Jesus. This is so we can be made right with God by believing in Christ. We are not made right by obeying the law. That’s because no one can be made right with God by obeying the law.
