  • Galatians 3:14 - Christ Jesus set us free so that the blessing given to Abraham would come to the Gentiles through Christ. He did it so that we might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. The promised Spirit comes by believing in Christ.
  • Romans 5:17 - One man sinned, and death ruled over all people because of his sin. What will happen is even more sure than this. Those who receive the rich supply of God’s grace will rule with Christ. They will rule in his kingdom. They have received God’s gift and have been made right with him. This will happen because of what the one man, Jesus Christ, has done.
  • Romans 5:18 - So one man’s sin brought guilt to all people. In the same way, one right act made people right with God. That one right act gave life to all people.
  • Romans 4:6 - King David says the same thing. He tells us how blessed people are when God makes them right with himself. They are blessed because they don’t have to do anything in return. David says,
  • Romans 4:7 - “Blessed are those whose lawless acts are forgiven. Blessed are those whose sins are taken away.
  • Romans 4:8 - Blessed is the person whose sin the Lord never counts against them.” ( Psalm 32:1 , 2 )
  • Romans 4:9 - Is that blessing only for those who are circumcised? Or is it also for those who are not circumcised? We have been saying that God accepted Abraham’s faith. So his faith made him right with God.
  • Isaiah 45:17 - But the Lord will save Israel. He will save them forever. They will never be put to shame or dishonored. That will be true for all time to come.
  • Psalm 68:19 - Give praise to the Lord. Give praise to God our Savior. He carries our heavy loads day after day.
  • Isaiah 61:10 - The people of Jerusalem will say, “We take great delight in the Lord. We are joyful because we belong to our God. He has dressed us with salvation as if it were our clothes. He has put robes of godliness on us. We are like a groom who is dressed up for his wedding. We are like a bride who decorates herself with her jewels.
  • Psalm 88:1 - Lord, you are the God who saves me. Day and night I cry out to you.
  • 1 Corinthians 1:30 - Because of what God has done, you belong to Christ Jesus. He has become God’s wisdom for us. He makes us right with God. He makes us holy and sets us free.
  • Psalm 72:17 - May the king’s name be remembered forever. May his fame last as long as the sun shines. Then all nations will be blessed because of him. They will call him blessed.
  • Psalm 128:1 - Blessed are all those who have respect for the Lord. They live as he wants them to live.
  • Psalm 128:2 - Your work will give you what you need. Blessings and good things will come to you.
  • Psalm 128:3 - As a vine bears a lot of fruit, so may your wife have many children by you. May they sit around your table like young olive trees.
  • Psalm 128:4 - Only a man who has respect for the Lord will be blessed like that.
  • Psalm 128:5 - May the Lord bless you from Zion. May you enjoy the good things that come to Jerusalem all the days of your life.
  • Numbers 6:24 - “ ‘ “May the Lord bless you and take good care of you.
  • Numbers 6:25 - May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
  • Numbers 6:26 - May the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace.” ’
  • Numbers 6:27 - “In that way they will put the blessing of my name on the Israelites. And I will bless them.”
  • Isaiah 46:13 - The time is almost here for me to make everything right. It is not far away. The time for me to save you will not be put off. I will save the city of Zion. I will bring honor to Israel.
  • Titus 3:4 - But the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared.
  • Titus 3:5 - He saved us. It wasn’t because of the good things we had done. It was because of his mercy. He saved us by washing away our sins. We were born again. The Holy Spirit gave us new life.
  • Titus 3:6 - God poured out the Spirit on us freely. That’s because of what Jesus Christ our Savior has done.
  • Ephesians 1:3 - Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. Those blessings come from the heavenly world. They belong to us because we belong to Christ.
  • Philippians 3:9 - I want to be joined to him. Being right with God does not come from my obeying the law. It comes because I believe in Christ. It comes from God because of faith.
