  • Psalms 44:1 - God, we have heard with our ears — our ancestors have told us — the work you accomplished in their days, in days long ago:
  • Psalms 44:2 - In order to plant them, you displaced the nations by your hand; in order to settle them, you brought disaster on the peoples.
  • Psalms 44:3 - For they did not take the land by their sword — their arm did not bring them victory — but by your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable toward them.
  • Psalms 44:4 - You are my King, my God, who ordains victories for Jacob.
  • Joshua 2:19 - If anyone goes out the doors of your house, his death will be his own fault, and we will be innocent. But if anyone with you in the house should be harmed, his death will be our fault.
  • Joshua 10:30 - The Lord also handed it and its king over to Israel. He struck it down, putting everyone in it to the sword, and left no survivors in it. He treated Libnah’s king as he had the king of Jericho.
  • Joshua 11:23 - So Joshua took the entire land, in keeping with all that the Lord had told Moses. Joshua then gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their tribal allotments. After this, the land had rest from war.
  • 2 Samuel 3:28 - David heard about it later and said, “I and my kingdom are forever innocent before the Lord concerning the blood of Abner son of Ner.
  • Joshua 18:1 - The entire Israelite community assembled at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there. The land had been subdued before them,
  • Joshua 10:42 - Joshua captured all these kings and their land in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.
  • Joshua 1:15 - until the Lord gives your brothers rest, as he has given you, and they too possess the land the Lord your God is giving them. You may then return to the land of your inheritance and take possession of what Moses the Lord’s servant gave you on the east side of the Jordan.”
  • Joshua 13:8 - With the other half of the tribe of Manasseh, the Reubenites and Gadites had received the inheritance Moses gave them beyond the Jordan to the east, just as Moses the Lord’s servant had given them:
  • Deuteronomy 3:20 - until the Lord gives rest to your brothers as he has to you, and they also take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving them across the Jordan. Then each of you may return to his possession that I have given you.
  • Joshua 22:4 - Now that he has given your brothers rest, just as he promised them, return to your homes in your own land that Moses the Lord’s servant gave you across the Jordan.
  • Joshua 22:9 - The Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in the land of Canaan to return to their own land of Gilead, which they took possession of according to the Lord’s command through Moses.
