  • Numbers 15:13 - Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:14 - And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or anyone is living permanently among you, and he wishes to offer a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord, he shall do as you do.
  • Numbers 15:15 - For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:16 - One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”
  • Numbers 15:17 - The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Numbers 15:18 - “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land to which I bring you
  • Numbers 15:19 - and when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall present a contribution to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:20 - Of the first of your dough you shall present a loaf as a contribution; like a contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you present it.

  • Numbers 23:19 - God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
  • Numbers 23:20 - Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.
  • Numbers 23:21 - He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The Lord their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.
  • Numbers 23:22 - God brings them out of Egypt and is for them like the horns of the wild ox.
  • Numbers 23:23 - For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘What has God wrought!’

  • Numbers 24:3 - and he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
  • Numbers 24:4 - the oracle of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down with his eyes uncovered:
  • Numbers 24:5 - How lovely are your tents, O Jacob, your encampments, O Israel!
  • Numbers 24:6 - Like palm groves that stretch afar, like gardens beside a river, like aloes that the Lord has planted, like cedar trees beside the waters.
  • Numbers 24:7 - Water shall flow from his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters; his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
  • Numbers 24:8 - God brings him out of Egypt and is for him like the horns of the wild ox; he shall eat up the nations, his adversaries, and shall break their bones in pieces and pierce them through with his arrows.
  • Numbers 24:9 - He crouched, he lay down like a lion and like a lioness; who will rouse him up? Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you.”
  • Numbers 24:10 - And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he struck his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, “I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them these three times.
  • Numbers 24:11 - Therefore now flee to your own place. I said, ‘I will certainly honor you,’ but the Lord has held you back from honor.”
  • Numbers 24:12 - And Balaam said to Balak, “Did I not tell your messengers whom you sent to me,
  • Numbers 24:13 - ‘If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I would not be able to go beyond the word of the Lord, to do either good or bad of my own will. What the Lord speaks, that will I speak’?
  • Numbers 24:14 - And now, behold, I am going to my people. Come, I will let you know what this people will do to your people in the latter days.”
  • Numbers 24:15 - And he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
  • Numbers 24:16 - the oracle of him who hears the words of God, and knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down with his eyes uncovered:
  • Numbers 24:17 - I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the forehead of Moab and break down all the sons of Sheth.
  • Numbers 24:18 - Edom shall be dispossessed; Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed. Israel is doing valiantly.
  • Numbers 24:19 - And one from Jacob shall exercise dominion and destroy the survivors of cities!”
  • Numbers 24:20 - Then he looked on Amalek and took up his discourse and said, “Amalek was the first among the nations, but its end is utter destruction.”
  • Numbers 24:21 - And he looked on the Kenite, and took up his discourse and said, “Enduring is your dwelling place, and your nest is set in the rock.
  • Numbers 24:22 - Nevertheless, Kain shall be burned when Asshur takes you away captive.”
  • Numbers 24:23 - And he took up his discourse and said, “Alas, who shall live when God does this?
  • Numbers 24:24 - But ships shall come from Kittim and shall afflict Asshur and Eber; and he too shall come to utter destruction.”
  • Numbers 24:25 - Then Balaam rose and went back to his place. And Balak also went his way.
  • Numbers 15:5 - and you shall offer with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, a quarter of a hin of wine for the drink offering for each lamb.
  • Numbers 15:6 - Or for a ram, you shall offer for a grain offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil.
  • Numbers 15:7 - And for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:8 - And when you offer a bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or for peace offerings to the Lord,
  • Numbers 15:9 - then one shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil.
  • Numbers 15:10 - And you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:11 - “Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each lamb or young goat.
  • Numbers 15:12 - As many as you offer, so shall you do with each one, as many as there are.
  • Numbers 15:13 - Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:14 - And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or anyone is living permanently among you, and he wishes to offer a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord, he shall do as you do.
  • Numbers 15:15 - For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:16 - One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”
  • Numbers 15:17 - The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Numbers 15:18 - “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land to which I bring you
  • Numbers 15:19 - and when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall present a contribution to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:20 - Of the first of your dough you shall present a loaf as a contribution; like a contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you present it.
  • Numbers 15:21 - Some of the first of your dough you shall give to the Lord as a contribution throughout your generations.
  • Numbers 15:22 - “But if you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments that the Lord has spoken to Moses,
  • Numbers 15:23 - all that the Lord has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the Lord gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations,
  • 1 Chronicles 6:16 - The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:17 - And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:18 - The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:19 - The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites according to their fathers.
  • Joshua 21:1 - Then the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites came to Eleazar the priest and to Joshua the son of Nun and to the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the people of Israel.
  • Joshua 21:2 - And they said to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, “The Lord commanded through Moses that we be given cities to dwell in, along with their pasturelands for our livestock.”
  • Joshua 21:3 - So by command of the Lord the people of Israel gave to the Levites the following cities and pasturelands out of their inheritance.
  • Joshua 21:4 - The lot came out for the clans of the Kohathites. So those Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin, thirteen cities.
  • Joshua 21:5 - And the rest of the Kohathites received by lot from the clans of the tribe of Ephraim, from the tribe of Dan and the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
  • Joshua 21:6 - The Gershonites received by lot from the clans of the tribe of Issachar, from the tribe of Asher, from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
  • Joshua 21:7 - The Merarites according to their clans received from the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad, and the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
  • Joshua 21:8 - These cities and their pasturelands the people of Israel gave by lot to the Levites, as the Lord had commanded through Moses.
  • Joshua 21:9 - Out of the tribe of the people of Judah and the tribe of the people of Simeon they gave the following cities mentioned by name,
  • Joshua 21:10 - which went to the descendants of Aaron, one of the clans of the Kohathites who belonged to the people of Levi; since the lot fell to them first.
  • Joshua 21:11 - They gave them Kiriath-arba (Arba being the father of Anak), that is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, along with the pasturelands around it.
  • Joshua 21:12 - But the fields of the city and its villages had been given to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession.
  • Joshua 21:13 - And to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron, the city of refuge for the manslayer, with its pasturelands, Libnah with its pasturelands,

  • Joshua 21:18 - Anathoth with its pasturelands, and Almon with its pasturelands—four cities.
  • Joshua 21:19 - The cities of the descendants of Aaron, the priests, were in all thirteen cities with their pasturelands.
  • Joshua 21:20 - As to the rest of the Kohathites belonging to the Kohathite clans of the Levites, the cities allotted to them were out of the tribe of Ephraim.

  • Joshua 21:25 - and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasturelands, and Gath-rimmon with its pasturelands—two cities.
  • Joshua 21:26 - The cities of the clans of the rest of the Kohathites were ten in all with their pasturelands.
  • Joshua 21:27 - And to the Gershonites, one of the clans of the Levites, were given out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its pasturelands, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Beeshterah with its pasturelands—two cities;
  • Joshua 21:28 - and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its pasturelands, Daberath with its pasturelands,
  • Joshua 21:29 - Jarmuth with its pasturelands, En-gannim with its pasturelands—four cities;
  • Joshua 21:30 - and out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its pasturelands, Abdon with its pasturelands,
  • Joshua 21:31 - Helkath with its pasturelands, and Rehob with its pasturelands—four cities;
  • Joshua 21:32 - and out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasturelands, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Hammoth-dor with its pasturelands, and Kartan with its pasturelands—three cities.

  • Joshua 21:38 - and out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasturelands, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Mahanaim with its pasturelands,
  • Joshua 21:39 - Heshbon with its pasturelands, Jazer with its pasturelands—four cities in all.
  • Joshua 21:40 - As for the cities of the several Merarite clans, that is, the remainder of the clans of the Levites, those allotted to them were in all twelve cities.
