  • Deuteronomy 28:68 - Then the Lord will send you back to Egypt in ships, to a destination I promised you would never see again. There you will offer to sell yourselves to your enemies as slaves, but no one will buy you.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:16 - as they try to keep us from preaching the Good News of salvation to the Gentiles. By doing this, they continue to pile up their sins. But the anger of God has caught up with them at last.
  • Joel 3:2 - I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for harming my people, my special possession, for scattering my people among the nations, and for dividing up my land.
  • Isaiah 10:5 - “What sorrow awaits Assyria, the rod of my anger. I use it as a club to express my anger.
  • Isaiah 10:6 - I am sending Assyria against a godless nation, against a people with whom I am angry. Assyria will plunder them, trampling them like dirt beneath its feet.

  • Matthew 21:40 - “When the owner of the vineyard returns,” Jesus asked, “what do you think he will do to those farmers?”
  • Matthew 21:41 - The religious leaders replied, “He will put the wicked men to a horrible death and lease the vineyard to others who will give him his share of the crop after each harvest.”
  • Isaiah 13:2 - “Raise a signal flag on a bare hilltop. Call up an army against Babylon. Wave your hand to encourage them as they march into the palaces of the high and mighty.
  • Isaiah 13:3 - I, the Lord, have dedicated these soldiers for this task. Yes, I have called mighty warriors to express my anger, and they will rejoice when I am exalted.”
  • Isaiah 13:4 - Hear the noise on the mountains! Listen, as the vast armies march! It is the noise and shouting of many nations. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has called this army together.
  • Isaiah 13:5 - They come from distant countries, from beyond the farthest horizons. They are the Lord’s weapons to carry out his anger. With them he will destroy the whole land.
  • Daniel 9:26 - “After this period of sixty-two sets of seven, the Anointed One will be killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end.
  • 1 Peter 4:17 - For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News?
  • 1 Peter 4:18 - And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?”
  • Luke 19:27 - And as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king—bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.’”
