  • Revelation 5:14 - And the four living beings said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:52 - It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.

  • Romans 8:23 - And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us.
  • Isaiah 25:8 - He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken!
  • Hosea 13:14 - “Should I ransom them from the grave ? Should I redeem them from death? O death, bring on your terrors! O grave, bring on your plagues! For I will not take pity on them.
  • Zechariah 3:7 - “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: If you follow my ways and carefully serve me, then you will be given authority over my Temple and its courtyards. I will let you walk among these others standing here.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:49 - Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.
  • Mark 12:25 - For when the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like the angels in heaven.
  • Revelation 21:4 - He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
  • 1 Corinthians 15:26 - And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.
  • 1 John 3:1 - See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.
  • 1 John 3:2 - Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.
  • Philippians 3:21 - He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:42 - It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever.
  • Revelation 20:6 - Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.
  • Matthew 22:30 - For when the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like the angels in heaven.
