Leviticus 8:34 - The Lord commanded what has been done today in order to make atonement for you.
1 Samuel 3:14 - Therefore, I have sworn to Eli’s family: The iniquity of Eli’s family will never be wiped out by either sacrifice or offering.”
Hebrews 7:27 - He doesn’t need to offer sacrifices every day, as high priests do — first for their own sins, then for those of the people. He did this once for all time when he offered himself.
Hebrews 7:28 - For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak, but the promise of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son, who has been perfected forever.
Leviticus 4:16 - The anointed priest will bring some of the bull’s blood into the tent of meeting.
Leviticus 4:17 - The priest is to dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord in front of the curtain.
Leviticus 4:18 - He is to apply some of the blood to the horns of the altar that is before the Lord in the tent of meeting. He will pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
Leviticus 4:19 - He is to remove all the fat from it and burn it on the altar.
Leviticus 4:20 - He is to offer this bull just as he did with the bull in the sin offering; he will offer it the same way. So the priest will make atonement on their behalf, and they will be forgiven.
Hebrews 9:7 - But the high priest alone enters the second room, and he does that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.
Leviticus 4:3 - “If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he is to present to the Lord a young, unblemished bull as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.
Hebrews 5:1 - For every high priest taken from among men is appointed in matters pertaining to God for the people, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
Hebrews 5:3 - Because of this, he must make an offering for his own sins as well as for the people.
