- Leviticus 1:1 - The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,
- Leviticus 1:2 - “Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of [domestic] animals from the herd (cattle, oxen) or from the flock (sheep, goats).
- Leviticus 1:3 - If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting so that he may be accepted before the Lord.

- Hebrews 10:20 - by this new and living way which He initiated and opened for us through the veil [as in the Holy of Holies], that is, through His flesh,
- Hebrews 10:21 - and since we have a great and wonderful Priest [Who rules] over the house of God,
- Hebrews 10:22 - let us approach [God] with a true and sincere heart in unqualified assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
