Leviticus 2:2 - and take it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the incense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
Leviticus 2:3 - The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.
Leviticus 2:4 - “ ‘If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of the finest flour: either thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in or thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with olive oil.
Leviticus 2:5 - If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of the finest flour mixed with oil, and without yeast.
Leviticus 2:6 - Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
Leviticus 2:7 - If your grain offering is cooked in a pan, it is to be made of the finest flour and some olive oil.
Leviticus 2:8 - Bring the grain offering made of these things to the Lord; present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar.
Leviticus 2:9 - He shall take out the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
Leviticus 2:10 - The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.
Leviticus 2:11 - “ ‘Every grain offering you bring to the Lord must be made without yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey in a food offering presented to the Lord.
Leviticus 2:12 - You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of the firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.
Leviticus 2:13 - Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
Leviticus 2:14 - “ ‘If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the Lord, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.
Leviticus 2:15 - Put oil and incense on it; it is a grain offering.
Leviticus 2:16 - The priest shall burn the memorial portion of the crushed grain and the oil, together with all the incense, as a food offering presented to the Lord.
Exodus 29:35 - “Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them.
Exodus 29:36 - Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it.
Exodus 29:37 - For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.
Exodus 29:38 - “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old.
Exodus 29:39 - Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight.
Exodus 29:40 - With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
Exodus 29:41 - Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.
Exodus 29:42 - “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the Lord. There I will meet you and speak to you;
Hebrews 5:1 - Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.
Leviticus 5:11 - “ ‘If, however, they cannot afford two doves or two young pigeons, they are to bring as an offering for their sin a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour for a sin offering. They must not put olive oil or incense on it, because it is a sin offering.
Hebrews 8:3 - Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer.
Hebrews 8:4 - If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law.
Numbers 18:26 - “Speak to the Levites and say to them: ‘When you receive from the Israelites the tithe I give you as your inheritance, you must present a tenth of that tithe as the Lord’s offering.
Numbers 18:27 - Your offering will be reckoned to you as grain from the threshing floor or juice from the winepress.
Numbers 18:28 - In this way you also will present an offering to the Lord from all the tithes you receive from the Israelites. From these tithes you must give the Lord’s portion to Aaron the priest.
Numbers 18:29 - You must present as the Lord’s portion the best and holiest part of everything given to you.’
Numbers 18:30 - “Say to the Levites: ‘When you present the best part, it will be reckoned to you as the product of the threshing floor or the winepress.
Numbers 18:31 - You and your households may eat the rest of it anywhere, for it is your wages for your work at the tent of meeting.
Numbers 18:32 - By presenting the best part of it you will not be guilty in this matter; then you will not defile the holy offerings of the Israelites, and you will not die.’ ”
Exodus 16:36 - (An omer is one-tenth of an ephah.)
