  • 1 Peter 2:22 - He did not commit sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth;

  • Leviticus 1:1 - Then the Lord summoned Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting:
  • Leviticus 1:2 - “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the Lord from the livestock, you may bring your offering from the herd or the flock.
  • Leviticus 1:3 - “If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male. He will bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he may be accepted by the Lord.
  • Leviticus 1:4 - He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering so it can be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.
  • Leviticus 1:5 - He is to slaughter the bull before the Lord; Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and splatter it on all sides of the altar that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
  • Leviticus 1:6 - Then he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
  • Hebrews 4:14 - Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens — Jesus the Son of God — let us hold fast to our confession.
  • Romans 3:24 - they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
  • Romans 3:25 - God presented him as the mercy seat by his blood, through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.
  • Romans 3:26 - God presented him to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so that he would be just and justify the one who has faith in Jesus.
  • Leviticus 5:13 - In this way the priest will make atonement on his behalf concerning the sin he has committed in any of these cases, and he will be forgiven. The rest will belong to the priest, like the grain offering.”
  • 1 Peter 2:24 - He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
  • Leviticus 9:7 - Then Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering; make atonement for yourself and the people. Sacrifice the people’s offering and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded.”
  • 1 John 1:7 - If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
  • Numbers 15:25 - The priest will then make atonement for the entire Israelite community so that they may be forgiven, for the sin was unintentional. They are to bring their offering, a food offering to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord for their unintentional sin.
  • Leviticus 4:20 - He is to offer this bull just as he did with the bull in the sin offering; he will offer it the same way. So the priest will make atonement on their behalf, and they will be forgiven.
  • Leviticus 4:26 - He must burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the fellowship sacrifice. In this way the priest will make atonement on his behalf for that person’s sin, and he will be forgiven.
