  • Romans 2:22 - You who say, “You must not commit adultery” — do you commit adultery? You who detest idols, do you rob temples?
  • Romans 2:23 - You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
  • Romans 2:24 - For, as it is written: The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.
  • Romans 2:25 - Circumcision benefits you if you observe the law, but if you are a lawbreaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
  • Romans 2:26 - So if an uncircumcised man keeps the law’s requirements, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?
  • Romans 2:27 - A man who is physically uncircumcised, but who keeps the law, will judge you who are a lawbreaker in spite of having the letter of the law and circumcision.
  • Romans 2:28 - For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, and true circumcision is not something visible in the flesh.
  • Romans 2:29 - On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart — by the Spirit, not the letter. That person’s praise is not from people but from God.
  • Matthew 21:38 - “But when the tenant farmers saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’
  • John 5:16 - Therefore, the Jews began persecuting Jesus because he was doing these things on the Sabbath.

  • Hebrews 3:4 - Now every house is built by someone, but the one who built everything is God.
  • Hebrews 3:5 - Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s household, as a testimony to what would be said in the future.
  • John 10:31 - Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone him.
