Jeremiah 29:21 - “The Lord God of Israel who rules over all also has something to say about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you and claiming my authority to do so. ‘I will hand them over to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and he will execute them before your very eyes.
Proverbs 5:21 - For the ways of a person are in front of the Lord’s eyes, and the Lord weighs all that person’s paths.
Jeremiah 29:8 - “For the Lord God of Israel who rules over all says, ‘Do not let the prophets or those among you who claim to be able to predict the future by divination deceive you. And do not pay any attention to the dreams that you are encouraging them to dream.
Jeremiah 29:9 - They are prophesying lies to you and claiming my authority to do so. But I did not send them. I, the Lord, affirm it!’
Malachi 3:5 - “I will come to you in judgment. I will be quick to testify against those who practice divination, those who commit adultery, those who break promises, and those who exploit workers, widows, and orphans, who refuse to help the immigrant and in this way show they do not fear me,” says the Lord who rules over all.
Hebrews 4:13 - And no creature is hidden from God, but everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must render an account.
Jeremiah 23:14 - But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to me and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.
