  • Psalms 29:7 - The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning.
  • Psalms 29:8 - The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
  • Psalms 29:9 - The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, “Glory!”
  • Psalms 29:10 - The Lord rules over the floodwaters. The Lord reigns as king forever.
  • Job 38:22 - “Have you visited the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of hail?
  • Job 38:34 - “Can you shout to the clouds and make it rain?
  • Job 38:35 - Can you make lightning appear and cause it to strike as you direct?
  • Psalms 135:7 - He causes the clouds to rise over the whole earth. He sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from his storehouses.
