Isaías 58:6 - »El ayuno que he escogido, ¿no es más bien romper las cadenas de injusticia y desatar las correas del yugo, poner en libertad a los oprimidos y romper toda atadura?
Isaías 58:7 - ¿No es acaso el ayuno compartir tu pan con el hambriento y dar refugio a los pobres sin techo, vestir al desnudo y no dejar de lado a tus semejantes?
Isaías 58:8 - Si así procedes, tu luz despuntará como la aurora, y al instante llegará tu sanidad; tu justicia te abrirá el camino, y la gloria del Señor te seguirá.

Isaías 58:10 - si te dedicas a ayudar a los hambrientos y a saciar la necesidad del desvalido, entonces brillará tu luz en las tinieblas, y como el mediodía será tu noche.
Salmo 18:40 - Hiciste retroceder a mis enemigos, y así exterminé a los que me odiaban.

Mateo 18:31 - Cuando los demás siervos vieron lo ocurrido, se entristecieron mucho y fueron a contarle a su señor todo lo que había sucedido.
Mateo 18:32 - Entonces el señor mandó llamar al siervo. “¡Siervo malvado! —le increpó—. Te perdoné toda aquella deuda porque me lo suplicaste.
Mateo 18:33 - ¿No debías tú también haberte compadecido de tu compañero, así como yo me compadecí de ti?”
Mateo 18:34 - Y, enojado, su señor lo entregó a los carceleros para que lo torturaran hasta que pagara todo lo que debía.
Josué 8:33 - Todos los israelitas, con sus jefes, oficiales y jueces, estaban de pie a ambos lados del arca del pacto, frente a los sacerdotes levitas que la cargaban en hombros. Tanto los israelitas como los inmigrantes tomaron sus posiciones, la mitad de ellos hacia el monte Guerizín y la otra mitad hacia el monte Ebal, tal como Moisés, siervo del Señor, había mandado cuando bendijo por primera vez al pueblo de Israel.
