  • Matthew 25:43 - I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

  • Matthew 18:32 - Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me.
  • Matthew 18:33 - Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
  • Matthew 18:34 - Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt.
  • Matthew 18:35 - “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”
  • Matthew 5:7 - God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
  • Luke 6:37 - “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
  • Matthew 6:15 - But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.
  • Proverbs 21:13 - Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need.
