  • Isaiah 49:6 - he says, “It is not enough for you to be my servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make you a light for the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.”
  • Isaiah 49:7 - This is what the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people, to a servant of rulers: “Kings will see, princes will stand up, and they will all bow down because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel  — and he has chosen you.”
  • Isaiah 49:8 - This is what the Lord says: I will answer you in a time of favor, and I will help you in the day of salvation. I will keep you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to make them possess the desolate inheritances,
  • Isaiah 49:9 - saying to the prisoners, “Come out,” and to those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves.” They will feed along the pathways, and their pastures will be on all the barren heights.
  • Isaiah 49:10 - They will not hunger or thirst, the scorching heat or sun will not strike them; for their compassionate one will guide them, and lead them to springs.
  • 1 Peter 2:22 - He did not commit sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth;
  • 1 Peter 2:23 - when he was insulted, he did not insult in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten but entrusted himself to the one who judges justly.
  • 1 Peter 2:24 - He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

  • Psalms 98:3 - He has remembered his love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God’s victory.

  • Isaiah 11:9 - They will not harm or destroy each other on my entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the Lord as the sea is filled with water.
  • Isaiah 11:10 - On that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will look to him for guidance, and his resting place will be glorious.
  • Isaiah 11:11 - On that day the Lord will extend his hand a second time to recover the remnant of his people who survive — from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west.
  • Isaiah 11:12 - He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel; he will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
  • Psalms 72:8 - May he rule from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
  • Psalms 72:9 - May desert tribes kneel before him and his enemies lick the dust.
  • Psalms 72:10 - May the kings of Tarshish and the coasts and islands bring tribute, the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.
  • Psalms 72:11 - Let all kings bow in homage to him, all nations serve him.
  • Micah 4:1 - In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. Peoples will stream to it,
  • Micah 4:2 - and many nations will come and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways so we may walk in his paths.” For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
  • Micah 4:3 - He will settle disputes among many peoples and provide arbitration for strong nations that are far away. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.
  • Zechariah 2:11 - “Many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the Lord of Armies has sent me to you.
  • Isaiah 9:7 - The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.
  • Psalms 22:27 - All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord. All the families of the nations will bow down before you,
  • Isaiah 60:9 - Yes, the coasts and islands will wait for me with the ships of Tarshish in the lead, to bring your children from far away, their silver and gold with them, for the honor of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.
  • Isaiah 52:13 - See, my servant will be successful; he will be raised and lifted up and greatly exalted.
  • Isaiah 52:14 - Just as many were appalled at you  — his appearance was so disfigured that he did not look like a man, and his form did not resemble a human being —
  • Isaiah 52:15 - so he will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of him, for they will see what had not been told them, and they will understand what they had not heard.
  • Isaiah 53:2 - He grew up before him like a young plant and like a root out of dry ground. He didn’t have an impressive form or majesty that we should look at him, no appearance that we should desire him.
  • Isaiah 53:3 - He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; he was despised, and we didn’t value him.
  • Isaiah 53:4 - Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.
  • Isaiah 53:5 - But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.
  • Isaiah 53:6 - We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished him for the iniquity of us all.
  • Isaiah 53:7 - He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a sheep silent before her shearers, he did not open his mouth.
  • Isaiah 53:8 - He was taken away because of oppression and judgment, and who considered his fate? For he was cut off from the land of the living; he was struck because of my people’s rebellion.
  • Isaiah 53:9 - He was assigned a grave with the wicked, but he was with a rich man at his death, because he had done no violence and had not spoken deceitfully.
  • Isaiah 53:10 - Yet the Lord was pleased to crush him severely. When you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand, the Lord’s pleasure will be accomplished.
  • Isaiah 53:11 - After his anguish, he will see light and be satisfied. By his knowledge, my righteous servant will justify many, and he will carry their iniquities.
  • Isaiah 53:12 - Therefore I will give him the many as a portion, and he will receive the mighty as spoil, because he willingly submitted to death, and was counted among the rebels; yet he bore the sin of many and interceded for the rebels.
  • Isaiah 55:5 - so you will summon a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you will run to you. For the Lord your God, even the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you.”
  • Genesis 49:10 - The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until he whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to him.
