Números 17:6 - Moisés se lo comunicó a los israelitas, y los jefes le entregaron doce varas, una por cada jefe de su familia patriarcal. Entre ellas estaba la vara de Aarón.
Números 17:7 - Moisés colocó las varas delante del Señor, en la Tienda del pacto.
Números 17:8 - Al día siguiente, Moisés entró en la Tienda del pacto y, al fijarse en la vara que representaba a la familia de Leví, vio que la vara de Aarón no solo había retoñado, sino que también tenía botones, flores y almendras.
Números 17:9 - Sacó entonces de la presencia del Señor todas las varas, y las puso delante de los israelitas, para que por sí mismos vieran lo que había ocurrido, y cada jefe tomó su propia vara.
Números 17:10 - El Señor le dijo a Moisés: «Vuelve a colocar la vara de Aarón frente al arca del pacto, para que sirva de advertencia a los rebeldes. Así terminarás con las quejas en contra mía, y evitarás que mueran los israelitas».
Levítico 27:30 - »El diezmo de todo producto del campo, ya sea grano de los sembrados o fruto de los árboles, pertenece al Señor, pues le está consagrado.
Levítico 27:31 - Si alguien desea rescatar algo de su diezmo, deberá añadir a su valor una quinta parte.
Levítico 27:32 - En cuanto al diezmo del ganado mayor y menor, uno de cada diez animales contados será consagrado al Señor.
Levítico 27:33 - El pastor no hará distinción entre animales buenos y malos, ni hará sustitución alguna. En caso de cambiar un animal por otro, los dos quedarán consagrados y no se les podrá rescatar».
Números 18:21 - »A los levitas les doy como herencia, y en pago por su servicio en la Tienda de reunión, todos los diezmos de Israel.
Números 18:22 - Si los israelitas volvieran a cometer el pecado de acercarse a la Tienda de reunión, morirían.
Números 18:23 - Por eso únicamente los levitas servirán en la Tienda de reunión y cargarán con la culpa de los israelitas. El siguiente es un estatuto perpetuo para todas las generaciones venideras: Los levitas no recibirán herencia entre los israelitas,
Números 18:24 - porque yo les he dado como herencia los diezmos que los israelitas ofrecen al Señor como contribución. Por eso he decidido que no tengan herencia entre los israelitas».
Números 18:25 - El Señor le ordenó a Moisés
Números 18:26 - que les dijera a los levitas: «Cuando reciban de los israelitas los diezmos que les he dado a ustedes como herencia, ofrézcanme, como contribución, el diezmo de esos diezmos.
Números 18:27 - La contribución que ustedes me presenten les será contada como si fuera trigo de la era o mosto del lagar.
Números 18:28 - Así que reservarán para mí, como su contribución, el diezmo de todos los diezmos que reciban de los israelitas, y se lo entregarán al sacerdote Aarón.
Números 18:29 - De todos los dones que reciban, reservarán para mí una contribución. Y me consagrarán lo mejor.
Números 18:30 - »Cuando me hayan presentado la mejor parte, se les tomará en cuenta como si fuera vino o grano.
Números 18:31 - Lo que sobre, ustedes y sus familias podrán comerlo donde quieran. Ese será el pago por su ministerio en la Tienda de reunión.
Números 18:32 - Después de presentarme el diezmo de los diezmos, ya no será pecado que coman lo que sobre. »No profanen las ofrendas sagradas de los israelitas, porque de lo contrario morirán».
