Genesis 15:5 - The Lord took Abram outside and said, “Look up at the sky. Count the stars, if you can.” Then he said to him, “That’s how many children will be born into your family.”
Romans 1:5 - We received grace because of what Jesus did. He made us apostles to the Gentiles. We must invite all of them to obey God by trusting in Jesus. We do this to bring glory to him.
Ezekiel 36:24 - “ ‘ “I will take you out of the nations. I will gather you together from all the countries. I will bring you back into your own land.
Genesis 17:8 - You are now living in Canaan as an outsider. But I will give you the whole land of Canaan. You will own it forever and so will all your family after you. And I will be their God.”
Genesis 26:3 - Stay there for a while. I will be with you and give you my blessing. I will give all these lands to you and your children after you. And I will keep my word that I gave to your father Abraham.
Nehemiah 9:7 - “You are the Lord God. You chose Abram. You brought him out of Ur in the land of Babylon. You named him Abraham.
Nehemiah 9:8 - You knew that his heart was faithful to you. And you made a covenant with him. You promised to give to his children after him a land of their own. It was the land of the Canaanites, Hittites and Amorites. The Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites also lived there. You have kept your promise. That’s because you always do what is right and fair.
Deuteronomy 9:5 - You are not going in to take over their land because you have done what is right or honest. It’s because those nations are so evil. That’s why the Lord your God will drive them out to make room for you. He will do what he said he would do. He made a promise to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Hebrews 11:33 - Because of their faith they took over kingdoms. They ruled fairly. They received the blessings God had promised. They shut the mouths of lions.
Genesis 13:15 - I will give you all the land you see. I will give it forever to you and your family who comes after you.
Genesis 13:16 - I will make them like the dust of the earth. Can dust be counted? If it can, then your family can be counted.
Genesis 13:17 - Go! Walk through the land. See how long and wide it is. I am giving it to you.”
1 Peter 4:17 - It is time for judgment to begin with the household of God. And since it begins with us, what will happen to people who don’t obey God’s good news?
Joshua 24:3 - I took your father Abraham from the land east of the Euphrates. I led him all through Canaan. I gave him many children and grandchildren. I gave him Isaac.

Genesis 11:31 - Terah left Ur in Babylon. He took with him his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran. Terah also took his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram. All of them left together to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they made their home there.
Genesis 22:18 - All nations on earth will be blessed because of your children. All these things will happen because you have obeyed me.”
James 2:14 - Suppose a person claims to have faith but doesn’t act on their faith. My brothers and sisters, can this kind of faith save them?
James 2:15 - Suppose a brother or a sister has no clothes or food.
James 2:16 - Suppose one of you says to them, “Go. I hope everything turns out fine for you. Keep warm. Eat well.” And suppose you do nothing about what they really need. Then what good have you done?
Psalm 105:9 - He will keep the covenant he made with Abraham. He will keep the promise he made to Isaac.
Psalm 105:10 - He made it stand as a law for Jacob. He made it stand as a covenant for Israel that will last forever.
Psalm 105:11 - He said, “I will give you the land of Canaan. It will belong to you.”
Matthew 7:24 - “So then, everyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like a wise man. He builds his house on the rock.
Matthew 7:25 - The rain comes down. The water rises. The winds blow and beat against that house. But it does not fall. It is built on the rock.
Romans 10:16 - But not all the people of Israel accepted the good news. Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” ( Isaiah 53:1 )
1 Peter 1:22 - You have made yourselves pure by obeying the truth. So you have an honest and true love for each other. So love one another deeply, from your hearts.
Genesis 12:7 - The Lord appeared to Abram at Shechem. He said, “I will give this land to your family who comes after you.” So Abram built an altar there to honor the Lord, who had appeared to him.
Acts 7:2 - “Brothers and fathers, listen to me!” Stephen replied. “The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham. At that time Abraham was still in Mesopotamia. He had not yet begun living in Harran.
Acts 7:3 - ‘Leave your country and your people,’ God said. ‘Go to the land I will show you.’ ( Genesis 12:1 )
Acts 7:4 - “So Abraham left the land of Babylonia. He settled in Harran. After his father died, God sent Abraham to this land where you are now living.
Genesis 12:1 - The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s family. Go to the land I will show you.
Genesis 12:2 - “I will make you into a great nation. And I will bless you. I will make your name great. You will be a blessing to others.
Genesis 12:3 - I will bless those who bless you. I will put a curse on anyone who puts a curse on you. All nations on earth will be blessed because of you.”
Genesis 12:4 - So Abram went, just as the Lord had told him. Lot went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he left Harran.
