Numbers 1:11 - from Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;
Numbers 1:12 - from Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;
Numbers 1:13 - from Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;
Numbers 1:14 - from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;
Numbers 1:15 - from Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.”
Numbers 1:16 - These were chosen from the congregation, leaders of their fathers’ tribes, heads of the divisions in Israel.
Numbers 1:17 - Then Moses and Aaron took these men who had been mentioned by name,
Numbers 1:18 - and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they recited their ancestry by families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, each one individually.
Numbers 1:19 - As the Lord commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai.
Numbers 1:20 - Now the children of Reuben, Israel’s oldest son, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, every male individually, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
Numbers 1:21 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Reuben were forty-six thousand five hundred.

Numbers 1:46 - all who were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

Numbers 1:48 - for the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying:
Numbers 1:49 - “Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, nor take a census of them among the children of Israel;
Numbers 1:50 - but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall attend to it and camp around the tabernacle.
Numbers 1:51 - And when the tabernacle is to go forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.
Numbers 1:52 - The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own standard, according to their armies;
Numbers 1:53 - but the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony.”
Numbers 1:54 - Thus the children of Israel did; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so they did.
Genesis 35:16 - Then they journeyed from Bethel. And when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath, Rachel labored in childbirth, and she had hard labor.
Genesis 35:17 - Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear; you will have this son also.”
Genesis 35:18 - And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni; but his father called him Benjamin.

Numbers 26:9 - The sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram, representatives of the congregation, who contended against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the Lord;
Numbers 26:10 - and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah when that company died, when the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign.
Numbers 26:11 - Nevertheless the children of Korah did not die.

Numbers 26:42 - These are the sons of Dan according to their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan according to their families.
Numbers 26:43 - All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.
Numbers 26:44 - The sons of Asher according to their families were: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites; of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

Numbers 26:52 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Numbers 26:53 - “To these the land shall be divided as an inheritance, according to the number of names.
Numbers 26:54 - To a large tribe you shall give a larger inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a smaller inheritance. Each shall be given its inheritance according to those who were numbered of them.
Numbers 26:55 - But the land shall be divided by lot; they shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
Numbers 26:56 - According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller.”
Numbers 26:57 - And these are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
Numbers 26:58 - These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begot Amram.
Numbers 26:59 - The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and to Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.
Numbers 26:60 - To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
Numbers 26:61 - And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the Lord.
Numbers 26:62 - Now those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and above; for they were not numbered among the other children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the children of Israel.
Numbers 26:63 - These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.
Numbers 26:64 - But among these there was not a man of those who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Sinai.
Numbers 26:65 - For the Lord had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.” So there was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

Numbers 10:1 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Numbers 10:2 - “Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.
Numbers 10:3 - When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
Numbers 10:4 - But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.

Numbers 10:8 - The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and these shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations.
Numbers 10:9 - “When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
Numbers 10:10 - Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”
Numbers 10:11 - Now it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle of the Testimony.
Numbers 10:12 - And the children of Israel set out from the Wilderness of Sinai on their journeys; then the cloud settled down in the Wilderness of Paran.
Numbers 10:13 - So they started out for the first time according to the command of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
Numbers 10:14 - The standard of the camp of the children of Judah set out first according to their armies; over their army was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
Numbers 10:15 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.
Numbers 10:16 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
Numbers 10:17 - Then the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set out, carrying the tabernacle.
Numbers 10:18 - And the standard of the camp of Reuben set out according to their armies; over their army was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
Numbers 10:19 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
Numbers 10:20 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
Numbers 10:21 - Then the Kohathites set out, carrying the holy things. (The tabernacle would be prepared for their arrival.)
Numbers 10:22 - And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set out according to their armies; over their army was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
Numbers 10:23 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
Numbers 10:24 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
Numbers 10:25 - Then the standard of the camp of the children of Dan (the rear guard of all the camps) set out according to their armies; over their army was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
Numbers 10:26 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
Numbers 10:27 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
Numbers 10:28 - Thus was the order of march of the children of Israel, according to their armies, when they began their journey.
Numbers 10:29 - Now Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”
Numbers 10:30 - And he said to him, “I will not go, but I will depart to my own land and to my relatives.”
Numbers 10:31 - So Moses said, “Please do not leave, inasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
Numbers 10:32 - And it shall be, if you go with us—indeed it shall be—that whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.”
Numbers 10:33 - So they departed from the mountain of the Lord on a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them for the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
Numbers 10:34 - And the cloud of the Lord was above them by day when they went out from the camp.
Numbers 10:35 - So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: “Rise up, O Lord! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.”

Genesis 42:36 - And Jacob their father said to them, “You have bereaved me: Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me.”
1 Chronicles 2:1 - These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
1 Chronicles 2:2 - Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
1 Chronicles 2:3 - The sons of Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. Er, the firstborn of Judah, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; so He killed him.

Numbers 34:5 - the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea.
Numbers 34:6 - ‘As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.
Numbers 34:7 - ‘And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your border line to Mount Hor;
Numbers 34:8 - from Mount Hor you shall mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border shall be toward Zedad;
Numbers 34:9 - the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your northern border.
Numbers 34:10 - ‘You shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;
Numbers 34:11 - the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; the border shall go down and reach to the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth;
Numbers 34:12 - the border shall go down along the Jordan, and it shall end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding boundaries.’ ”
Numbers 34:13 - Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe.
Numbers 34:14 - For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance.
Numbers 34:15 - The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”
Numbers 34:16 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Numbers 34:17 - “These are the names of the men who shall divide the land among you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.
Numbers 34:18 - And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance.
Numbers 34:19 - These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;

Numbers 34:28 - and a leader from the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
Numbers 34:29 - These are the ones the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance among the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
Genesis 44:28 - and the one went out from me, and I said, “Surely he is torn to pieces”; and I have not seen him since.

Numbers 1:1 - Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying:
Numbers 1:2 - “Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male individually,
Numbers 1:3 - from twenty years old and above—all who are able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
Numbers 1:4 - And with you there shall be a man from every tribe, each one the head of his father’s house.
Numbers 1:5 - “These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: from Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;
Numbers 1:6 - from Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;
Numbers 1:7 - from Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;
Numbers 1:8 - from Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar;
Numbers 1:9 - from Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;

Numbers 1:11 - from Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;
Numbers 1:12 - from Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;
Numbers 1:13 - from Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;
Numbers 1:14 - from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;
Numbers 1:15 - from Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.”
Numbers 1:16 - These were chosen from the congregation, leaders of their fathers’ tribes, heads of the divisions in Israel.
Numbers 1:17 - Then Moses and Aaron took these men who had been mentioned by name,
Numbers 1:18 - and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they recited their ancestry by families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, each one individually.
Numbers 1:19 - As the Lord commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai.
Numbers 1:20 - Now the children of Reuben, Israel’s oldest son, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, every male individually, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
Numbers 1:21 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Reuben were forty-six thousand five hundred.
Numbers 1:22 - From the children of Simeon, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, of those who were numbered, according to the number of names, every male individually, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
Numbers 1:23 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Simeon were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
Numbers 1:24 - From the children of Gad, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
Numbers 1:25 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Gad were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

Numbers 1:32 - From the sons of Joseph, the children of Ephraim, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
Numbers 1:33 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim were forty thousand five hundred.
Numbers 1:34 - From the children of Manasseh, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
Numbers 1:35 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Manasseh were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
Numbers 1:36 - From the children of Benjamin, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:

Numbers 1:43 - those who were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Numbers 1:44 - These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each one representing his father’s house.
Numbers 1:45 - So all who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war in Israel—
Numbers 1:46 - all who were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
Numbers 1:47 - But the Levites were not numbered among them by their fathers’ tribe;
Numbers 1:48 - for the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying:
Numbers 1:49 - “Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, nor take a census of them among the children of Israel;
Numbers 1:50 - but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall attend to it and camp around the tabernacle.
Numbers 1:51 - And when the tabernacle is to go forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.
Numbers 1:52 - The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own standard, according to their armies;
Numbers 1:53 - but the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony.”
Numbers 1:54 - Thus the children of Israel did; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so they did.
Genesis 35:16 - Then they journeyed from Bethel. And when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath, Rachel labored in childbirth, and she had hard labor.
Genesis 35:17 - Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear; you will have this son also.”
Genesis 35:18 - And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni; but his father called him Benjamin.
Genesis 35:19 - So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).
Genesis 35:20 - And Jacob set a pillar on her grave, which is the pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day.

Genesis 35:24 - the sons of Rachel were Joseph and Benjamin;
Genesis 35:25 - the sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s maidservant, were Dan and Naphtali;
Genesis 35:26 - and the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s maidservant, were Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Padan Aram.
Matthew 2:16 - Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.

Numbers 26:4 - “Take a census of the people from twenty years old and above, just as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt.”
Numbers 26:5 - Reuben was the firstborn of Israel. The children of Reuben were: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
Numbers 26:6 - of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
Numbers 26:7 - These are the families of the Reubenites: those who were numbered of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Numbers 26:8 - And the son of Pallu was Eliab.
Numbers 26:9 - The sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram, representatives of the congregation, who contended against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the Lord;
Numbers 26:10 - and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah when that company died, when the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign.
Numbers 26:11 - Nevertheless the children of Korah did not die.
Numbers 26:12 - The sons of Simeon according to their families were: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites;
Numbers 26:13 - of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
Numbers 26:14 - These are the families of the Simeonites: twenty-two thousand two hundred.
Numbers 26:15 - The sons of Gad according to their families were: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
Numbers 26:16 - of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;

Numbers 26:29 - The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.
Numbers 26:30 - These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;
Numbers 26:31 - of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;
Numbers 26:32 - of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
Numbers 26:33 - Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
Numbers 26:34 - These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were fifty-two thousand seven hundred.

Numbers 26:45 - Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
Numbers 26:46 - And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.
Numbers 26:47 - These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were numbered of them: fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Numbers 26:48 - The sons of Naphtali according to their families were: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
Numbers 26:49 - of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
Numbers 26:50 - These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
Numbers 26:51 - These are those who were numbered of the children of Israel: six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Numbers 26:52 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Numbers 26:53 - “To these the land shall be divided as an inheritance, according to the number of names.
Numbers 26:54 - To a large tribe you shall give a larger inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a smaller inheritance. Each shall be given its inheritance according to those who were numbered of them.
Numbers 26:55 - But the land shall be divided by lot; they shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
Numbers 26:56 - According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller.”
Numbers 26:57 - And these are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
Numbers 26:58 - These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begot Amram.
Numbers 26:59 - The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and to Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.
Numbers 26:60 - To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
Numbers 26:61 - And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the Lord.
Numbers 26:62 - Now those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and above; for they were not numbered among the other children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the children of Israel.
Numbers 26:63 - These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.
Numbers 26:64 - But among these there was not a man of those who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Sinai.
Numbers 26:65 - For the Lord had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.” So there was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
Genesis 42:11 - We are all one man’s sons; we are honest men; your servants are not spies.”
Numbers 10:1 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Numbers 10:2 - “Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.
Numbers 10:3 - When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
Numbers 10:4 - But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.
Numbers 10:5 - When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey.
Numbers 10:6 - When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys.
Numbers 10:7 - And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the advance.
Numbers 10:8 - The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and these shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations.
Numbers 10:9 - “When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
Numbers 10:10 - Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”
Numbers 10:11 - Now it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle of the Testimony.
Numbers 10:12 - And the children of Israel set out from the Wilderness of Sinai on their journeys; then the cloud settled down in the Wilderness of Paran.
Numbers 10:13 - So they started out for the first time according to the command of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
Numbers 10:14 - The standard of the camp of the children of Judah set out first according to their armies; over their army was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
Numbers 10:15 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.
Numbers 10:16 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
Numbers 10:17 - Then the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set out, carrying the tabernacle.
Numbers 10:18 - And the standard of the camp of Reuben set out according to their armies; over their army was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
Numbers 10:19 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
Numbers 10:20 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
Numbers 10:21 - Then the Kohathites set out, carrying the holy things. (The tabernacle would be prepared for their arrival.)
Numbers 10:22 - And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set out according to their armies; over their army was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
Numbers 10:23 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
Numbers 10:24 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
Numbers 10:25 - Then the standard of the camp of the children of Dan (the rear guard of all the camps) set out according to their armies; over their army was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
Numbers 10:26 - Over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
Numbers 10:27 - And over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
Numbers 10:28 - Thus was the order of march of the children of Israel, according to their armies, when they began their journey.
Numbers 10:29 - Now Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”
Numbers 10:30 - And he said to him, “I will not go, but I will depart to my own land and to my relatives.”
Numbers 10:31 - So Moses said, “Please do not leave, inasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
Numbers 10:32 - And it shall be, if you go with us—indeed it shall be—that whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.”
Numbers 10:33 - So they departed from the mountain of the Lord on a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them for the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
Numbers 10:34 - And the cloud of the Lord was above them by day when they went out from the camp.
Numbers 10:35 - So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: “Rise up, O Lord! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.”
Numbers 10:36 - And when it rested, he said: “Return, O Lord, To the many thousands of Israel.”
Genesis 29:32 - So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she said, “The Lord has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me.”
Genesis 29:33 - Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the Lord has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.
Genesis 29:34 - She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.
Genesis 29:35 - And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she called his name Judah. Then she stopped bearing.
