Ezekiel 24:21 - ‘Speak to the people of Israel. Tell them, “The Lord and King says, ‘I am about to make my temple “unclean.” I will let the Babylonians burn it down. It is the beautiful building you are so proud of. You take delight in it. You love it. The sons and daughters you left behind will be killed by swords.
Judges 16:1 - One day Samson went to Gaza. There he saw a prostitute. He went in to spend the night with her.
Judges 16:2 - The people of Gaza were told, “Samson is here!” So they surrounded the place. They hid and waited for him at the city gate all night long. They didn’t make any move against him during the night. They said, “Let’s wait until the sun comes up. Then we’ll kill him.”
Hosea 6:7 - Just as at the city of Adam, they disobeyed me, they have broken the covenant I made with them. They were not faithful to me there.
Genesis 3:17 - The Lord God said to Adam, “You listened to your wife’s suggestion. You ate fruit from the tree I warned you about. I said, ‘You must not eat its fruit.’ “So I am putting a curse on the ground because of what you did. All the days of your life you will have to work hard. It will be painful for you to get food from the ground.
Genesis 6:2 - The sons of God saw that the daughters of human beings were beautiful. So they married any of them they chose.

Romans 5:12 - Sin entered the world because one man sinned. And death came because of sin. Everyone sinned, so death came to all people.
Romans 5:13 - Before the law was given, sin was in the world. This is certainly true. But people are not judged for sin when there is no law.
Romans 5:14 - Death ruled from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. Death ruled even over those who did not sin as Adam did. He broke God’s command. But Adam also became a pattern of the Messiah. The Messiah was the one who was going to come.
Romans 5:15 - God’s gift can’t be compared with Adam’s sin. Many people died because of the sin of that one man. But it was even more sure that God’s grace would also come through one man. That man is Jesus Christ. God’s gift of grace was more than enough for the whole world.
Romans 5:16 - The result of God’s gift is different from the result of Adam’s sin. That one sin brought God’s judgment. But after many sins, God’s gift made people right with him.
Romans 5:17 - One man sinned, and death ruled over all people because of his sin. What will happen is even more sure than this. Those who receive the rich supply of God’s grace will rule with Christ. They will rule in his kingdom. They have received God’s gift and have been made right with him. This will happen because of what the one man, Jesus Christ, has done.
Romans 5:18 - So one man’s sin brought guilt to all people. In the same way, one right act made people right with God. That one right act gave life to all people.
Romans 5:19 - Many people were made sinners because one man did not obey. But one man did obey. That is why many people will be made right with God.
Ezekiel 24:25 - “Son of man, I will take away their beautiful temple. It is their joy and glory. They take delight in it. Their hearts long for it. I will also take away their sons and daughters.
Genesis 39:7 - After a while, his master’s wife noticed Joseph. She said to him, “Come to bed with me!”
2 Samuel 11:2 - One evening David got up from his bed. He walked around on the roof of his palace. From the roof he saw a woman taking a bath. She was very beautiful.
Joshua 7:21 - I saw a beautiful robe from Babylonia among the things we had taken. I saw five pounds of silver. And I saw a gold bar that weighed 20 ounces. I wanted them, so I took them. I hid them in the ground inside my tent. The silver is on the bottom.”
James 1:14 - But each person is tempted by their own evil desires. These desires lead them on and drag them away.
James 1:15 - When these desires are allowed to remain, they lead to sin. And when sin is allowed to remain and grow, it leads to death.
1 Timothy 2:14 - Adam was not the one who was tricked. The woman was tricked and became a sinner.
