  • Exodus 37:14 - The rings were attached near the border to hold the poles that were used to carry the table.

  • Ezekiel 43:8 - They put their idol altars right next to mine with only a wall between them and me. They defiled my holy name by such detestable sin, so I consumed them in my anger.
  • Ezekiel 43:9 - Now let them stop worshiping other gods and honoring the relics of their kings, and I will live among them forever.
  • Ezekiel 43:10 - “Son of man, describe to the people of Israel the Temple I have shown you, so they will be ashamed of all their sins. Let them study its plan,
  • Ezekiel 43:11 - and they will be ashamed of what they have done. Describe to them all the specifications of the Temple—including its entrances and exits—and everything else about it. Tell them about its decrees and laws. Write down all these specifications and decrees as they watch so they will be sure to remember and follow them.
  • Ezekiel 43:12 - And this is the basic law of the Temple: absolute holiness! The entire top of the mountain where the Temple is built is holy. Yes, this is the basic law of the Temple.
  • Ezekiel 43:13 - “These are the measurements of the altar : There is a gutter all around the altar 21 inches deep and 21 inches wide, with a curb 9 inches wide around its edge. And this is the height of the altar:
  • Ezekiel 43:14 - From the gutter the altar rises 3-1/2 feet to a lower ledge that surrounds the altar and is 21 inches wide. From the lower ledge the altar rises 7 feet to the upper ledge that is also 21 inches wide.
  • Ezekiel 43:15 - The top of the altar, the hearth, rises another 7 feet higher, with a horn rising up from each of the four corners.
  • Ezekiel 43:16 - The top of the altar is square, measuring 21 feet by 21 feet.
  • Ezekiel 43:17 - The upper ledge also forms a square, measuring 24-1/2 feet by 24-1/2 feet, with a 21-inch gutter and a 10-1/2-inch curb all around the edge. There are steps going up the east side of the altar.”
  • Ezekiel 43:18 - Then he said to me, “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: These will be the regulations for the burning of offerings and the sprinkling of blood when the altar is built.
  • Ezekiel 43:19 - At that time, the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok, who minister before me, are to be given a young bull for a sin offering, says the Sovereign Lord.
  • Ezekiel 43:20 - You will take some of its blood and smear it on the four horns of the altar, the four corners of the upper ledge, and the curb that runs around that ledge. This will cleanse and make atonement for the altar.
  • Ezekiel 43:21 - Then take the young bull for the sin offering and burn it at the appointed place outside the Temple area.
  • Ezekiel 43:22 - “On the second day, sacrifice as a sin offering a young male goat that has no physical defects. Then cleanse and make atonement for the altar again, just as you did with the young bull.
  • Ezekiel 43:23 - When you have finished the cleansing ceremony, offer another young bull that has no defects and a perfect ram from the flock.
  • Ezekiel 43:24 - You are to present them to the Lord, and the priests are to sprinkle salt on them and offer them as a burnt offering to the Lord.
  • Ezekiel 43:25 - “Every day for seven days a male goat, a young bull, and a ram from the flock will be sacrificed as a sin offering. None of these animals may have physical defects of any kind.
  • Ezekiel 43:26 - Do this each day for seven days to cleanse and make atonement for the altar, thus setting it apart for holy use.
  • Ezekiel 43:27 - On the eighth day, and on each day afterward, the priests will sacrifice on the altar the burnt offerings and peace offerings of the people. Then I will accept you. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”
  • 2 Chronicles 3:1 - So Solomon began to build the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to David, his father. The Temple was built on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the site that David had selected.
  • 2 Chronicles 3:2 - The construction began in midspring, during the fourth year of Solomon’s reign.
  • 2 Chronicles 3:3 - These are the dimensions Solomon used for the foundation of the Temple of God (using the old standard of measurement). It was 90 feet long and 30 feet wide.
  • 2 Chronicles 3:4 - The entry room at the front of the Temple was 30 feet wide, running across the entire width of the Temple, and 30 feet high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.

  • Exodus 37:1 - Next Bezalel made the Ark of acacia wood—a sacred chest 45 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high.
  • Exodus 37:2 - He overlaid it inside and outside with pure gold, and he ran a molding of gold all around it.
  • Exodus 37:3 - He cast four gold rings and attached them to its four feet, two rings on each side.
  • Exodus 37:4 - Then he made poles from acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
  • Exodus 37:5 - He inserted the poles into the rings at the sides of the Ark to carry it.
  • Exodus 37:6 - Then he made the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—from pure gold. It was 45 inches long and 27 inches wide.
  • Exodus 37:7 - He made two cherubim from hammered gold and placed them on the two ends of the atonement cover.
  • Exodus 37:8 - He molded the cherubim on each end of the atonement cover, making it all of one piece of gold.
  • Exodus 37:9 - The cherubim faced each other and looked down on the atonement cover. With their wings spread above it, they protected it.
  • Exodus 37:10 - Then Bezalel made the table of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high.
  • Exodus 37:11 - He overlaid it with pure gold and ran a gold molding around the edge.
  • Exodus 37:12 - He decorated it with a 3-inch border all around, and he ran a gold molding along the border.
  • Exodus 37:13 - Then he cast four gold rings for the table and attached them at the four corners next to the four legs.
  • Exodus 37:14 - The rings were attached near the border to hold the poles that were used to carry the table.
  • Exodus 37:15 - He made these poles from acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
  • Exodus 37:16 - Then he made special containers of pure gold for the table—bowls, ladles, jars, and pitchers—to be used in pouring out liquid offerings.
  • Exodus 37:17 - Then Bezalel made the lampstand of pure, hammered gold. He made the entire lampstand and its decorations of one piece—the base, center stem, lamp cups, buds, and petals.
  • Exodus 37:18 - The lampstand had six branches going out from the center stem, three on each side.
  • Exodus 37:19 - Each of the six branches had three lamp cups shaped like almond blossoms, complete with buds and petals.
  • Exodus 37:20 - The center stem of the lampstand was crafted with four lamp cups shaped like almond blossoms, complete with buds and petals.
  • Exodus 37:21 - There was an almond bud beneath each pair of branches where the six branches extended from the center stem, all made of one piece.
  • Exodus 37:22 - The almond buds and branches were all of one piece with the center stem, and they were hammered from pure gold.
  • Exodus 37:23 - He also made seven lamps for the lampstand, lamp snuffers, and trays, all of pure gold.
  • Exodus 37:24 - The entire lampstand, along with its accessories, was made from 75 pounds of pure gold.
  • Exodus 37:25 - Then Bezalel made the incense altar of acacia wood. It was 18 inches square and 36 inches high, with horns at the corners carved from the same piece of wood as the altar itself.
  • Exodus 37:26 - He overlaid the top, sides, and horns of the altar with pure gold, and he ran a gold molding around the entire altar.
  • Exodus 37:27 - He made two gold rings and attached them on opposite sides of the altar below the gold molding to hold the carrying poles.
  • Exodus 37:28 - He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
  • Exodus 37:29 - Then he made the sacred anointing oil and the fragrant incense, using the techniques of a skilled incense maker.
  • Proverbs 2:6 - For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
  • Proverbs 2:7 - He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.

  • 1 Kings 6:1 - It was in midspring, in the month of Ziv, during the fourth year of Solomon’s reign, that he began to construct the Temple of the Lord. This was 480 years after the people of Israel were rescued from their slavery in the land of Egypt.
  • 1 Kings 6:2 - The Temple that King Solomon built for the Lord was 90 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 45 feet high.
  • 1 Kings 6:3 - The entry room at the front of the Temple was 30 feet wide, running across the entire width of the Temple. It projected outward 15 feet from the front of the Temple.
  • 1 Kings 6:4 - Solomon also made narrow recessed windows throughout the Temple.
  • 1 Kings 6:5 - He built a complex of rooms against the outer walls of the Temple, all the way around the sides and rear of the building.
  • 1 Kings 6:6 - The complex was three stories high, the bottom floor being 7-1/2 feet wide, the second floor 9 feet wide, and the top floor 10-1/2 feet wide. The rooms were connected to the walls of the Temple by beams resting on ledges built out from the wall. So the beams were not inserted into the walls themselves.
  • 1 Kings 6:7 - The stones used in the construction of the Temple were finished at the quarry, so there was no sound of hammer, ax, or any other iron tool at the building site.
  • 1 Kings 6:8 - The entrance to the bottom floor was on the south side of the Temple. There were winding stairs going up to the second floor, and another flight of stairs between the second and third floors.
  • Exodus 6:26 - The Aaron and Moses named in this list are the same ones to whom the Lord said, “Lead the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt like an army.”
  • Ezra 5:1 - At that time the prophets Haggai and Zechariah son of Iddo prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem. They prophesied in the name of the God of Israel who was over them.
  • Ezra 5:2 - Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak responded by starting again to rebuild the Temple of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them and helped them.
  • James 1:16 - So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.

  • Exodus 35:26 - All the women who were willing used their skills to spin the goat hair into yarn.
  • Exodus 4:14 - Then the Lord became angry with Moses. “All right,” he said. “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he speaks well. And look! He is on his way to meet you now. He will be delighted to see you.
