  • Psalm 50:11 - I own every bird in the mountains. The insects in the fields belong to me.
  • Psalm 50:12 - If I were hungry, I wouldn’t tell you. The world belongs to me. And so does everything in it.
  • Deuteronomy 28:1 - Make sure you obey the Lord your God completely. Be careful to obey all his commands. I’m giving them to you today. If you do these things, the Lord will honor you more than all the other nations on earth.

  • Jeremiah 10:16 - The God of Jacob is not like them. He gives his people everything they need. He made everything that exists. And that includes Israel. They are the people who belong to him. His name is the Lord Who Rules Over All.
  • 1 Samuel 15:22 - But Samuel replied, “What pleases the Lord more? Burnt offerings and sacrifices, or obeying the Lord? It is better to obey than to offer a sacrifice. It is better to do what he says than to offer the fat of rams.
  • Deuteronomy 32:8 - The Most High God gave the nations their lands. He divided up the human race. He set up borders for the nations. He did it based on the number of the angels in his heavenly court.
  • Deuteronomy 32:9 - The Lord’s people are his share. Jacob is the nation he has received.
  • Jeremiah 11:4 - I gave those terms to your people of long ago. That was when I brought them out of Egypt. I saved them out of that furnace that melts down iron and makes it pure.’ I said, ‘Obey me. Do everything I command you to do. Then you will be my people. And I will be your God.

  • Jeremiah 11:6 - The Lord said to me, “Here is what I want you to announce in the towns of Judah. Say it also in the streets of Jerusalem. Tell the people, ‘Listen to the terms of my covenant. Obey them.
  • Jeremiah 11:7 - Long ago I brought your people up from Egypt. From that time until today, I warned them again and again. I said, “Obey me.”
  • 1 Kings 8:53 - After all, you chose them out of all the nations in the world. You made them your very own people. You did it just as you had announced through your servant Moses. That’s when you brought out of Egypt our people of long ago. You are our Lord and King.”
  • Isaiah 43:1 - Family of Jacob, the Lord created you. People of Israel, he formed you. He says, “Do not be afraid. I will set you free. I will send for you by name. You belong to me.
  • Daniel 4:34 - At the end of that time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven. My mind became clear again. Then I praised the Most High God. I gave honor and glory to the God who lives forever. His rule will last forever. His kingdom will never end.
  • Daniel 4:35 - He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him, “What have you done?”
  • Psalm 25:10 - All the Lord’s ways are loving and faithful toward those who obey what his covenant commands.
  • Psalm 103:17 - But the Lord’s love for those who have respect for him lasts for ever and ever. Their children’s children will know that he always does what is right.
  • Psalm 103:18 - He always loves those who keep his covenant. He always does what is right for those who remember to obey his commands.
  • Isaiah 41:8 - The Lord says, “People of Israel, you are my servants. Family of Jacob, I have chosen you. You are the children of my friend Abraham.
  • Jeremiah 31:31 - “The days are coming,” announces the Lord. “I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel. I will also make it with the people of Judah.
  • Jeremiah 31:32 - It will not be like the covenant I made with their people of long ago. That was when I took them by the hand. I led them out of Egypt. But they broke my covenant. They did it even though I was like a husband to them,” announces the Lord.
  • Jeremiah 31:33 - “This is the covenant I will make with Israel after that time,” announces the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds. I will write it on their hearts. I will be their God. And they will be my people.
  • Job 41:11 - Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything on earth belongs to me.
  • 1 Corinthians 10:26 - Scripture says, “The earth belongs to the Lord. And so does everything in it.” ( Psalm 24:1 )
  • Hebrews 11:8 - Abraham had faith. So he obeyed God. God called him to go to a place he would later receive as his own. So he went. He did it even though he didn’t know where he was going.
  • Exodus 23:22 - Listen carefully to what he says. Do everything I say. Then I will be an enemy to your enemies. I will fight against those who fight against you.
  • Joshua 24:24 - Then the people said to Joshua, “We will serve the Lord our God. We will obey him.”
  • Psalm 24:1 - The earth belongs to the Lord. And so does everything in it. The world belongs to him. And so do all those who live in it.
  • Deuteronomy 5:2 - The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Mount Horeb.
  • Exodus 9:29 - Moses replied, “When I’ve left the city, I’ll lift up my hands and pray to the Lord. The thunder will stop. There won’t be any more hail. Then you will know that the earth belongs to the Lord.
  • Exodus 15:26 - He said, “I am the Lord your God. Listen carefully to me. Do what is right in my eyes. Pay attention to my commands. Obey all my rules. If you do, I will not send on you any of the sicknesses I sent on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.”
  • Deuteronomy 10:14 - The heavens belong to the Lord your God. Even the highest heavens belong to him. He owns the earth and everything in it.
  • Deuteronomy 4:20 - Egypt was like a furnace that melts iron down and makes it pure. But the Lord took you and brought you out of Egypt. He wanted you to be his very own people. And that’s exactly what you are.
  • Titus 2:14 - He gave himself for us. By doing that, he set us free from all evil. He wanted to make us pure. He wanted us to be his very own people. He wanted us to desire to do what is good.
  • Psalm 135:4 - The Lord has chosen the people of Jacob to be his own. He has chosen Israel to be his special treasure.
  • Malachi 3:17 - “The day is coming when I will judge,” says the Lord who rules over all. “On that day they will be my special treasure. I will spare them just as a father loves and spares his son who serves him.
  • Deuteronomy 7:6 - You are a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. He has chosen you to be his special treasure. He chose you out of all the nations on the face of the earth to be his people.
  • Deuteronomy 26:18 - Today the Lord has announced that you are his people. He has said that you are his special treasure. He promised that you would be. He has told you to keep all his commands.
  • Deuteronomy 14:2 - You are a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. He has chosen you to be his special treasure. He chose you out of all the nations on the face of the earth.
