  • Acts of the Apostles 2:14 - Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, “Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this.

  • 1 Peter 4:3 - You have had enough in the past of the evil things that godless people enjoy—their immorality and lust, their feasting and drunkenness and wild parties, and their terrible worship of idols.
  • 1 Peter 4:4 - Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you.
  • Isaiah 5:11 - What sorrow for those who get up early in the morning looking for a drink of alcohol and spend long evenings drinking wine to make themselves flaming drunk.

  • Acts of the Apostles 11:24 - Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And many people were brought to the Lord.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:7 - Night is the time when people sleep and drinkers get drunk.
  • Romans 13:13 - Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy.

  • Luke 1:15 - for he will be great in the eyes of the Lord. He must never touch wine or other alcoholic drinks. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth.
  • Proverbs 20:1 - Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise.
