Acts 7:45 - Our ancestors in turn received it and with Joshua brought it in when they dispossessed the nations that God drove out before them, until the days of David.
1 Chronicles 22:11 - “Now, my son, may the Lord be with you, and may you succeed in building the house of the Lord your God, as he said about you.
1 Chronicles 22:12 - Above all, may the Lord give you insight and understanding when he puts you in charge of Israel so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
1 Chronicles 22:13 - Then you will succeed if you carefully follow the statutes and ordinances the Lord commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or discouraged.
1 Chronicles 22:14 - “Notice I have taken great pains to provide for the house of the Lord — 3,775 tons of gold, 37,750 tons of silver, and bronze and iron that can’t be weighed because there is so much of it. I have also provided timber and stone, but you will need to add more to them.
1 Chronicles 22:15 - You also have many workers: stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and people skilled in every kind of work
1 Chronicles 22:16 - in gold, silver, bronze, and iron — beyond number. Now begin the work, and may the Lord be with you.”
John 1:17 - for the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 4:1 - I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and because of his appearing and his kingdom:
2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching.
2 Timothy 4:3 - For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear.
2 Timothy 4:4 - They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.
2 Timothy 4:5 - But as for you, exercise self-control in everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
2 Timothy 4:6 - For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time for my departure is close.
Hebrews 4:8 - For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
Joshua 1:2 - “Moses my servant is dead. Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan to the land I am giving the Israelites.
Numbers 27:18 - The Lord replied to Moses, “Take Joshua son of Nun, a man who has the Spirit in him, and lay your hands on him.
Numbers 27:19 - Have him stand before the priest Eleazar and the whole community, and commission him in their sight.
Numbers 27:20 - Confer some of your authority on him so that the entire Israelite community will obey him.
Numbers 27:21 - He will stand before the priest Eleazar who will consult the Lord for him with the decision of the Urim. He and all the Israelites with him, even the entire community, will go out and come back in at his command.”
Numbers 27:22 - Moses did as the Lord commanded him. He took Joshua, had him stand before the priest Eleazar and the entire community,
Numbers 27:23 - laid his hands on him, and commissioned him, as the Lord had spoken through Moses.
Deuteronomy 31:23 - The Lord commissioned Joshua son of Nun, “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I swore to them, and I will be with you.”
Deuteronomy 31:7 - Moses then summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you will go with this people into the land the Lord swore to give to their ancestors. You will enable them to take possession of it.
Deuteronomy 1:38 - Joshua son of Nun, who attends you, will enter it. Encourage him, for he will enable Israel to inherit it.
Deuteronomy 31:3 - The Lord your God is the one who will cross ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will drive them out. Joshua is the one who will cross ahead of you, as the Lord has said.
