Psalms 55:12 - Now it is not an enemy who insults me — otherwise I could bear it; it is not a foe who rises up against me — otherwise I could hide from him.

Isaiah 19:12 - Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you and reveal what the Lord of Armies has planned against Egypt.

Isaiah 19:16 - On that day Egypt will be like women and will tremble with fear because of the threatening hand of the Lord of Armies when he raises it against them.
Isaiah 19:17 - The land of Judah will terrify Egypt; whenever Judah is mentioned, Egypt will tremble because of what the Lord of Armies has planned against it.
Isaiah 19:18 - On that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear loyalty to the Lord of Armies. One of the cities will be called the City of the Sun.
Isaiah 19:19 - On that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the center of the land of Egypt and a pillar to the Lord near her border.
Isaiah 19:20 - It will be a sign and witness to the Lord of Armies in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and leader, and he will rescue them.
Isaiah 19:21 - The Lord will make himself known to Egypt, and Egypt will know the Lord on that day. They will offer sacrifices and offerings; they will make vows to the Lord and fulfill them.
Isaiah 19:22 - The Lord will strike Egypt, striking and healing. Then they will turn to the Lord, and he will be receptive to their prayers and heal them.
Isaiah 19:23 - On that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. Assyria will go to Egypt, Egypt to Assyria, and Egypt will worship with Assyria.
Isaiah 19:24 - On that day Israel will form a triple alliance with Egypt and Assyria — a blessing within the land.
Isaiah 19:25 - The Lord of Armies will bless them, saying, “Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance are blessed.”
1 Corinthians 1:20 - Where is the one who is wise? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made the world’s wisdom foolish?
Psalms 41:9 - Even my friend in whom I trusted, one who ate my bread, has raised his heel against me.
2 Samuel 16:23 - Now the advice Ahithophel gave in those days was like someone asking about a word from God — such was the regard that both David and Absalom had for Ahithophel’s advice.

2 Samuel 17:23 - When Ahithophel realized that his advice had not been followed, he saddled his donkey and set out for his house in his hometown. He set his house in order and hanged himself. So he died and was buried in his father’s tomb.
2 Samuel 17:14 - Since the Lord had decreed that Ahithophel’s good advice be undermined in order to bring about Absalom’s ruin, Absalom and all the men of Israel said, “The advice of Hushai the Archite is better than Ahithophel’s advice.”
