  • Romans 16:18 - Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.

  • 2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.
  • Acts of the Apostles 2:42 - All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper ), and to prayer.

  • 2 Peter 2:20 - And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.
  • 2 Peter 2:21 - It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.
  • 2 Peter 2:22 - They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”
  • 2 Corinthians 11:13 - These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.
  • 2 Corinthians 11:14 - But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
  • 2 Corinthians 11:15 - So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.

  • Matthew 7:15 - “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.
  • Colossians 2:8 - Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.
  • Hebrews 3:14 - For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
