  • Luke 23:43 - Jesus answered him, “What I’m about to tell you is true. Today you will be with me in paradise.”
  • Luke 23:34 - Jesus said, “Father, forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing.” The soldiers divided up his clothes by casting lots.
  • Acts 10:31 - He said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer. He has remembered your gifts to poor people.

  • James 1:6 - But when you ask, you must believe. You must not doubt. That’s because a person who doubts is like a wave of the sea. The wind blows and tosses them around.
  • James 1:7 - They shouldn’t expect to receive anything from the Lord.
  • James 1:8 - This kind of person can’t make up their mind. They can never decide what to do.
  • Matthew 6:14 - Forgive other people when they sin against you. If you do, your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you.
  • Matthew 6:15 - But if you do not forgive the sins of other people, your Father will not forgive your sins.
  • Mark 11:23 - “What I’m about to tell you is true. Suppose someone says to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea.’ They must not doubt in their heart. They must believe that what they say will happen. Then it will be done for them.
  • Mark 11:24 - So I tell you, when you pray for something, believe that you have already received it. Then it will be yours.

  • Isaiah 58:7 - Share your food with hungry people. Provide homeless people with a place to stay. Give naked people clothes to wear. Provide for the needs of your own family.
  • Isaiah 58:8 - Then the light of my blessing will shine on you like the rising sun. I will heal you quickly. I will march out ahead of you. And my glory will follow behind you and guard you. That’s because I always do what is right.
  • Isaiah 58:9 - You will call out to me for help. And I will answer you. You will cry out. And I will say, ‘Here I am.’ “Get rid of the chains you use to hold others down. Stop pointing your finger at others as if they had done something wrong. Stop saying harmful things about them.
  • Isaiah 58:10 - Work hard to feed hungry people. Satisfy the needs of those who are crushed. Then my blessing will light up your darkness. And the night of your suffering will become as bright as the noonday sun.
  • Isaiah 58:11 - I will always guide you. I will satisfy your needs in a land baked by the sun. I will make you stronger. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water. You will be like a spring whose water never runs dry.
  • Matthew 5:22 - But here is what I tell you. Do not be angry with a brother or sister. Anyone who is angry with them will be judged. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ must stand trial in court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire in hell.
  • Matthew 5:23 - “Suppose you are offering your gift at the altar. And you remember that your brother or sister has something against you.
  • Matthew 5:24 - Leave your gift in front of the altar. First go and make peace with them. Then come back and offer your gift.
  • 1 Corinthians 7:7 - I wish all of you were single like me. But you each have your own gift from God. One has this gift, and another has that one.
  • Malachi 1:9 - “Now plead with God to be gracious to us! But as long as you give offerings like those, how can he accept you?” says the Lord.
  • Malachi 1:10 - “You might as well shut the temple doors! Then you would not light useless fires on my altar. I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord. “I will not accept any of the offerings you bring.

  • 1 Peter 3:7 - Husbands, consider the needs of your wives. They are weaker than you. So treat them with respect. Honor them as those who will share with you the gracious gift of life. Then nothing will stand in the way of your prayers.
  • Acts 10:2 - Cornelius and all his family were faithful and worshiped God. He gave freely to people who were in need. He prayed to God regularly.
  • Hebrews 10:22 - So let us come near to God with a sincere heart. Let us come near boldly because of our faith. Our hearts have been sprinkled. Our minds have been cleansed from a sense of guilt. Our bodies have been washed with pure water.
  • John 4:21 - Jesus said, “Woman, believe me. A time is coming when you will not worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem.
  • Jeremiah 7:9 - “ ‘ “You continue to steal and commit murder. You commit adultery. You tell lies in court. You burn incense to Baal. You worship other gods you didn’t know before.
  • Jeremiah 7:10 - Then you come and stand in front of me. You keep coming to this house where I have put my Name. You say, ‘We are safe.’ You think you are safe when you do so many things I hate.
  • Acts 21:5 - When it was time to leave, we continued on our way. All the believers, including their whole families, went with us out of the city. There on the beach we got down on our knees to pray.
  • Titus 3:8 - You can trust this saying. These things are important. Treat them that way. Then those who trust in God will be careful to commit themselves to doing good. These things are excellent. They are for the good of everyone.
  • 1 Timothy 5:14 - So here is the advice I give to younger widows. Get married. Have children. Take care of your own homes. Don’t give the enemy the chance to tell lies about you.
  • Isaiah 1:15 - You might spread out your hands toward me when you pray. But I do not look at you. You might even offer many prayers. But I am not listening to them. Your hands are covered with the blood of the people you have murdered.
  • James 4:8 - Come near to God, and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners. Make your hearts pure, you who can’t make up your minds.
  • Psalm 63:4 - I will praise you as long as I live. I will call on your name when I lift up my hands in prayer.
  • Psalm 134:2 - Lift up your hands in the temple and praise the Lord.
