  • Isaiah 41:13 - For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.
  • Isaiah 41:14 - Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don’t be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.’
  • John 14:1 - “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
  • John 14:27 - “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

  • 1 Peter 4:14 - If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.
  • 1 Peter 4:15 - If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs.
  • 1 Peter 4:16 - But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!
  • Matthew 5:10 - God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
  • Matthew 5:11 - “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.
  • Matthew 5:12 - Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.
  • Matthew 10:28 - “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
  • Luke 6:22 - What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
  • Luke 6:23 - When that happens, be happy! Yes, leap for joy! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, their ancestors treated the ancient prophets that same way.
  • Isaiah 8:12 - “Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them.
  • Isaiah 8:13 - Make the Lord of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.
  • 1 Peter 2:19 - For God is pleased when, conscious of his will, you patiently endure unjust treatment.
  • 1 Peter 2:20 - Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you.
