Isaiah 第31章
Woe to Those Who Go Down to Egypt
and rely on horses,
and in horsemen because they are very strong,
but 31:1 [ch. 22:11]do not look to the Holy One of Israel
or consult the Lord!
2And 31:2 [Ps. 94:8-10] yet he is wise and brings disaster;
31:2 [Num. 23:19] he does not call back his words,
but 31:2 [ch. 22:14] will arise against the house of the evildoers
and against the helpers of 31:2 Ps. 94:4those who work iniquity.

and their horses 31:3 Jer. 17:5are flesh, and not spirit.

and when a band of shepherds is called out against him
he is not terrified by their shouting
or daunted at their noise,
31:4 [ch. 42:13]so the Lord of hosts will come down
to fight31:4 The Hebrew words for hosts and to fight sound alike on Mount Zion and on its hill.
will protect Jerusalem;
he will protect and deliver it;
he will spare and rescue it.”
and a sword, not of man, shall devour him;
and he shall flee from the sword,
and his young men shall be 31:8 [Gen. 49:15; Prov. 12:24]put to forced labor.
931:9 Deut. 32:31; See ch. 30:29His rock shall pass away in terror,
and his officers desert the standard in panic,”
declares the Lord, whose 31:9 ch. 30:33fire is in Zion,
