He wanted to show off her beauty to the guests and officials. She was extremely good-looking.
  • Judges 19:6 - The girl’s father said to the man, “Come now, be my guest. Stay the night—make it a holiday.” The man got up to go, but his father-in-law kept after him, so he ended up spending another night.
