Judges 12:8 - Now Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel after him.
Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
Judges 19:1 - Now it came about in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite staying in the remote part of the hill country of Ephraim, who took a concubine for himself from Bethlehem in Judah.
Judges 19:2 - But his concubine found him repugnant, and she left him and went to her father’s house in Bethlehem in Judah, and remained there for a period of four months.
1 Kings 17:1 - Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall certainly be neither dew nor rain during these years, except by my word.”
1 Kings 17:2 - Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
1 Kings 17:3 - “Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.
1 Kings 17:4 - And it shall be that you will drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to provide food for you there.”
1 Kings 17:5 - So he went and did everything according to the word of the Lord, for he went and lived by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.
1 Kings 17:6 - And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he would drink from the brook.
1 Kings 17:7 - But it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.
1 Kings 17:8 - Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
1 Kings 17:9 - “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there; behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide food for you.”
1 Kings 17:10 - So he arose and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the entrance of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, “Please get me a little water in a cup, so that I may drink.”
1 Kings 17:11 - As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand.”
1 Kings 17:12 - But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no food, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar; and behold, I am gathering a few sticks so that I may go in and prepare it for me and my son, so that we may eat it and die.”
2 Samuel 21:1 - Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David sought the presence of the Lord. And the Lord said, “It is because of Saul and his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.”
Joel 1:10 - The field is ruined, The land mourns; For the grain is ruined, The new wine has dried up, Fresh oil has failed.
Joel 1:11 - Be ashamed, you farm workers, Wail, you vinedressers, For the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field is destroyed.

Ezekiel 14:21 - For this is what the Lord God says: “How much more when I send My four severe judgments against Jerusalem: sword, famine, vicious animals, and plague to eliminate human and animal life from it!
Joel 1:16 - Has food not been cut off before our eyes, and Joy and rejoicing from the house of our God?
Joel 1:17 - The seeds have dried up under their shovels; The storehouses have become desolate, The grain silos are ruined, Because the grain has dried up.
Joel 1:18 - How the animals have groaned! The herds of cattle have wandered aimlessly Because there is no pasture for them; Even the flocks of sheep have suffered.
Joel 1:19 - To You, Lord, I cry out; For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, And the flame has burned up all the trees of the field.
Joel 1:20 - Even the animals of the field pant for You; For the stream beds of water are dried up, And fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
1 Kings 18:2 - So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria.
Judges 2:16 - Then the Lord raised up judges who saved them from the hands of those who plundered them.

Ezekiel 14:13 - “Son of man, if a country sins against Me by being unfaithful, and I stretch out My hand against it, destroy its supply of bread, send famine against it, and eliminate from it both human and animal life,
Psalms 105:16 - And He called for a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.

Judges 17:8 - Then the man left the city, Bethlehem in Judah, to stay wherever he would find a place; and as he made his journey, he came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah.
2 Kings 8:1 - Now Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise and go with your household, and live wherever you can live; for the Lord has called for a famine, and it will indeed come on the land for seven years.”
2 Kings 8:2 - So the woman arose and acted in accordance with the word of the man of God: she went with her household and resided in the land of the Philistines for seven years.
