  • Romans 2:8 - But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness.
  • Acts of the Apostles 28:15 - The brothers and sisters in Rome had heard we were coming, and they came to meet us at the Forum on the Appian Way. Others joined us at The Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he was encouraged and thanked God.

  • Hebrews 11:8 - It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.

  • 1 Peter 2:9 - But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
  • Hebrews 5:9 - In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.
  • Ephesians 2:5 - that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

  • 3 John 1:3 - Some of the traveling teachers recently returned and made me very happy by telling me about your faithfulness and that you are living according to the truth.
