Revelation 17:1 - One of the seven angels who had poured out the seven bowls came over and spoke to me. “Come with me,” he said, “and I will show you the judgment that is going to come on the great prostitute, who rules over many waters.
Revelation 17:5 - A mysterious name was written on her forehead: “Babylon the Great, Mother of All Prostitutes and Obscenities in the World.”
Revelation 11:13 - At the same time there was a terrible earthquake that destroyed a tenth of the city. Seven thousand people died in that earthquake, and everyone else was terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Hebrews 6:6 - and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.

Psalms 79:3 - Blood has flowed like water all around Jerusalem; no one is left to bury the dead.
Revelation 14:8 - Then another angel followed him through the sky, shouting, “Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen—because she made all the nations of the world drink the wine of her passionate immorality.”
Acts of the Apostles 9:4 - He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?”
Revelation 18:2 - He gave a mighty shout: “Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen! She has become a home for demons. She is a hideout for every foul spirit, a hideout for every foul vulture and every foul and dreadful animal.
Revelation 16:19 - The great city of Babylon split into three sections, and the cities of many nations fell into heaps of rubble. So God remembered all of Babylon’s sins, and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his fierce wrath.
Jeremiah 26:23 - They took him prisoner and brought him back to King Jehoiakim. The king then killed Uriah with a sword and had him buried in an unmarked grave.
Psalms 78:43 - They did not remember his miraculous signs in Egypt, his wonders on the plain of Zoan.
Psalms 78:44 - For he turned their rivers into blood, so no one could drink from the streams.
Psalms 78:45 - He sent vast swarms of flies to consume them and hordes of frogs to ruin them.
Psalms 78:46 - He gave their crops to caterpillars; their harvest was consumed by locusts.
Psalms 78:47 - He destroyed their grapevines with hail and shattered their sycamore-figs with sleet.
Psalms 78:48 - He abandoned their cattle to the hail, their livestock to bolts of lightning.
Psalms 78:49 - He loosed on them his fierce anger— all his fury, rage, and hostility. He dispatched against them a band of destroying angels.
Psalms 78:50 - He turned his anger against them; he did not spare the Egyptians’ lives but ravaged them with the plague.
Psalms 78:51 - He killed the oldest son in each Egyptian family, the flower of youth throughout the land of Egypt.
Isaiah 1:9 - If the Lord of Heaven’s Armies had not spared a few of us, we would have been wiped out like Sodom, destroyed like Gomorrah.
Isaiah 1:10 - Listen to the Lord, you leaders of “Sodom.” Listen to the law of our God, people of “Gomorrah.”
Ezekiel 23:19 - Yet she turned to even greater prostitution, remembering her youth when she was a prostitute in Egypt.
Jude 1:7 - And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment.
Luke 13:33 - Yes, today, tomorrow, and the next day I must proceed on my way. For it wouldn’t do for a prophet of God to be killed except in Jerusalem!
Luke 13:34 - “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let me.
Amos 4:11 - “I destroyed some of your cities, as I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Those of you who survived were like charred sticks pulled from a fire. But still you would not return to me,” says the Lord.
Ezekiel 23:8 - For when she left Egypt, she did not leave her spirit of prostitution behind. She was still as lewd as in her youth, when the Egyptians slept with her, fondled her breasts, and used her as a prostitute.
Ezekiel 23:27 - In this way, I will put a stop to the lewdness and prostitution you brought from Egypt. You will never again cast longing eyes on those things or fondly remember your time in Egypt.
Genesis 13:13 - But the people of this area were extremely wicked and constantly sinned against the Lord.
Isaiah 3:9 - The very look on their faces gives them away. They display their sin like the people of Sodom and don’t even try to hide it. They are doomed! They have brought destruction upon themselves.
Exodus 20:2 - “I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.
Matthew 10:15 - I tell you the truth, the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah will be better off than such a town on the judgment day.
Revelation 18:18 - They will cry out as they watch the smoke ascend, and they will say, “Where is there another city as great as this?”
Genesis 19:24 - Then the Lord rained down fire and burning sulfur from the sky on Sodom and Gomorrah.
Exodus 3:7 - Then the Lord told him, “I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering.
Revelation 18:21 - Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a huge millstone. He threw it into the ocean and shouted, “Just like this, the great city Babylon will be thrown down with violence and will never be found again.
Revelation 11:9 - And for three and a half days, all peoples, tribes, languages, and nations will stare at their bodies. No one will be allowed to bury them.
2 Peter 2:6 - Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people.
Ezekiel 23:3 - They became prostitutes in Egypt. Even as young girls, they allowed men to fondle their breasts.
Revelation 18:10 - They will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will cry out, “How terrible, how terrible for you, O Babylon, you great city! In a single moment God’s judgment came on you.”
Ezekiel 16:53 - “But someday I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and Samaria, and I will restore you, too.
Ezekiel 16:54 - Then you will be truly ashamed of everything you have done, for your sins make them feel good in comparison.
Ezekiel 16:55 - Yes, your sisters, Sodom and Samaria, and all their people will be restored, and at that time you also will be restored.
Hebrews 13:12 - So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood.
Jeremiah 23:14 - But now I see that the prophets of Jerusalem are even worse! They commit adultery and love dishonesty. They encourage those who are doing evil so that no one turns away from their sins. These prophets are as wicked as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah once were.”
