Matthew 21:28 - “What do you think about this? A man had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’
Matthew 21:29 - “ ‘I will not,’ the son answered. But later he changed his mind and went.
Matthew 21:30 - “Then the father went to the other son. He said the same thing. The son answered, ‘I will, sir.’ But he did not go.
Matthew 21:31 - “Which of the two sons did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “What I’m about to tell you is true. Tax collectors and prostitutes will enter the kingdom of God ahead of you.
Luke 12:17 - He thought to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have any place to store my crops.’

Mark 2:7 - “Why is this fellow talking like that? He’s saying a very evil thing! Only God can forgive sins!”
2 Kings 5:20 - Gehazi was the servant of Elisha, the man of God. Gehazi said to himself, “My master was too easy on Naaman from Aram. He should have accepted the gift Naaman brought. I’m going to run after him. I’m going to get something from him. And that’s just as sure as the Lord is alive.”
Luke 15:28 - “The older brother became angry. He refused to go in. So his father went out and begged him.
Luke 15:29 - But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve worked like a slave for you. I have always obeyed your orders. You never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
Luke 15:30 - But this son of yours wasted your money with some prostitutes. Now he comes home. And for him you kill the fattest calf!’
John 4:19 - “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet.
Proverbs 23:7 - He is the kind of person who is always thinking about how much it costs. “Eat and drink,” he says to you. But he doesn’t mean it.
Luke 7:37 - There was a woman in that town who had lived a sinful life. She learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house. So she came there with a special jar of perfume.
John 7:47 - “You mean he has fooled you also?” the Pharisees asked.
John 7:48 - “Have any of the rulers or Pharisees believed in him?
John 7:49 - No! But this mob knows nothing about the law. There is a curse on them.”
John 7:50 - Then Nicodemus, a Pharisee, spoke. He was the one who had gone to Jesus earlier. He asked,
John 7:51 - “Does our law find a man guilty without hearing him first? Doesn’t it want to find out what he is doing?”
John 7:52 - They replied, “Are you from Galilee too? Look into it. You will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee.”
Luke 16:3 - “The manager said to himself, ‘What will I do now? My master is taking away my job. I’m not strong enough to dig. And I’m too ashamed to beg.
John 7:40 - The people heard his words. Some of them said, “This man must be the Prophet we’ve been expecting.”
John 7:41 - Others said, “He is the Messiah.” Still others asked, “How can the Messiah come from Galilee?
Luke 18:9 - Jesus told a story to some people who were sure they were right with God. They looked down on everyone else.
Luke 18:10 - He said to them, “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee. The other was a tax collector.
Luke 18:11 - The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed. ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people,’ he said. ‘I am not like robbers or those who do other evil things. I am not like those who commit adultery. I am not even like this tax collector.
Mark 7:21 - Evil thoughts come from the inside, from a person’s heart. So do sexual sins, stealing and murder.
Isaiah 65:5 - They say, ‘Keep away! Don’t come near us! We are too sacred for you!’ Those people are like smoke in my nose. They are like a fire that keeps burning all day.
Luke 15:2 - But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were whispering among themselves. They said, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
Luke 7:16 - The people were all filled with wonder and praised God. “A great prophet has appeared among us,” they said. “God has come to help his people.”
