  • Romans 6:22 - But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
  • Luke 16:9 - Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home.
  • Luke 11:23 - “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.

  • Romans 8:5 - Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
  • Romans 8:6 - So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
  • Romans 8:7 - For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.
  • Romans 8:8 - That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
  • Matthew 6:24 - “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
  • James 4:4 - You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
