  • Nahum 3:6 - I will cover you with filth and show the world how vile you really are.
  • Ephesians 2:2 - You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.
  • Ephesians 2:3 - All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.
  • Malachi 2:9 - “So I have made you despised and humiliated in the eyes of all the people. For you have not obeyed me but have shown favoritism in the way you carry out my instructions.”
  • Isaiah 1:5 - Why do you continue to invite punishment? Must you rebel forever? Your head is injured, and your heart is sick.
  • Titus 3:3 - Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.
  • 2 Timothy 2:25 - Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.
  • 2 Timothy 2:26 - Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.
