  • Psalm 2:2 - The kings of the earth rise up against the Lord. The rulers of the earth join together against his anointed king.
  • Proverbs 11:21 - You can be sure that sinners will be punished. And you can also be sure that godly people will go free.
  • Isaiah 8:9 - Sound the battle cry, you nations! But you will be torn apart. Listen, all you lands far away! Prepare for battle! But you will be torn apart. Prepare for battle! But you will be torn apart.
  • Isaiah 8:10 - Make your battle plans! But you won’t succeed. Give your orders! But they won’t be carried out. That’s because God is with us.

  • Joel 3:13 - My soldiers, swing your blades. The nations are ripe for harvest. Come and stomp on them as if they were grapes. Crush them until the winepress of my anger is full. Do it until the wine spills over from the places where it is stored. The nations have committed far too many sins!”
  • Psalm 83:2 - See how your enemies are growling like dogs. See how they are rising up against you.
  • Psalm 83:3 - They make clever plans against your people. They make evil plans against those you love.
  • Psalm 83:4 - “Come,” they say. “Let’s destroy that whole nation. Then the name of Israel won’t be remembered anymore.”
  • Psalm 83:5 - All of them agree on the evil plans they have made. They join forces against you.
  • Psalm 83:6 - Their forces include the people of Edom, Ishmael, Moab and Hagar.
  • Psalm 83:7 - They also include the people of Byblos, Ammon, Amalek, Philistia and Tyre.
  • Psalm 83:8 - Even Assyria has joined them to give strength to the people of Moab and Ammon.
