  • Psalm 32:5 - Then I admitted my sin to you. I didn’t cover up the wrong I had done. I said, “I will admit my lawless acts to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
  • 1 Peter 3:8 - Finally, I want all of you to agree with one another. Be understanding. Love one another. Be kind and tender. Be humble.
  • 1 Peter 3:9 - Don’t pay back evil with evil. Don’t pay back unkind words with unkind words. Instead, pay back evil with kind words. This is what you have been chosen to do. You will receive a blessing by doing this.
  • Luke 17:18 - Didn’t anyone else return and give praise to God except this outsider?”
  • 2 Chronicles 33:12 - When Manasseh was in trouble, he asked the Lord his God to help him. He made himself very humble in the sight of the God of his people.
  • 2 Chronicles 33:13 - Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.
  • 2 Timothy 2:25 - They must gently teach those who are against them. Maybe God will give a change of heart to those who are against you. That will lead them to know the truth.
  • Ezra 10:10 - Then Ezra the priest stood up. He said, “You haven’t been faithful to the Lord. You have married women from other lands. So you have added to Israel’s guilt.
  • Ezra 10:11 - Now honor the Lord, the God of your people. Then do what he wants you to do. Separate yourselves from the nations around you. Send away your wives from other lands.”
  • Romans 10:10 - With your heart you believe and are made right with God. With your mouth you say what you believe. And so you are saved.
  • Titus 2:2 - Tell the older men that in anything they do, they must not go too far. They must be worthy of respect. They must control themselves. They must have true faith. They must love others. They must not give up.
  • Psalm 51:3 - I know the lawless acts I’ve committed. I can’t forget my sin.
  • Isaiah 13:12 - He’ll make people harder to find than pure gold. They will be harder to find than gold from Ophir.
  • Revelation 16:9 - They were burned by the blazing heat. So they spoke evil things against the name of God, who controlled these plagues. But they refused to turn away from their sins. They did not give glory to God.
  • James 1:20 - Human anger doesn’t produce the holy life God wants.
  • Jonah 1:8 - They asked him, “What terrible thing have you done to bring all this trouble on us? Tell us. What do you do for a living? Where do you come from? What is your country? What people do you belong to?”
  • Jonah 1:9 - He answered, “I’m a Hebrew. I worship the Lord. He is the God of heaven. He made the sea and the dry land.”
  • Jonah 1:10 - They found out he was running away from the Lord. That’s because he had told them. Then they became terrified. So they asked him, “How could you do a thing like that?”
  • Numbers 5:6 - “Speak to the Israelites. Say to them, ‘Suppose a man or woman does something wrong to someone else. Then that person is not being faithful to the Lord. People like that are guilty.
  • Numbers 5:7 - They must admit they have committed a sin. They must pay in full for what they did wrong. And they must add a fifth of the value to it. Then they must give all of it to the person they have sinned against.
  • Daniel 9:4 - I prayed to the Lord my God. I admitted that we had sinned. I said, “Lord, you are a great and wonderful God. You keep the covenant you made with all those who love you and obey your commandments. You show them your love.
  • 1 Samuel 14:43 - Then Saul said to Jonathan, “Tell me what you have done.” So Jonathan told him, “I used the end of my stick to get a little honey and taste it. And now do I have to die?”
  • John 9:24 - Again the Pharisees called the man who had been blind to come to them. “Give glory to God by telling the truth!” they said. “We know that the man who healed you is a sinner.”
  • 2 Chronicles 30:22 - Hezekiah spoke words that gave hope to all the Levites. They understood how to serve the Lord well. For the seven days of the feast they ate the share given to them. They also sacrificed friendship offerings. They praised the Lord, the God of their people.
  • Jeremiah 13:16 - Give glory to the Lord your God. Honor him before he sends darkness to cover the land. Do this before you trip and fall on the darkened hills. You hope that light will come. But he will turn it into thick darkness. He will change it to deep shadows.
  • 1 Samuel 6:5 - Make models of the rats and the growths that are destroying the country. Give honor to Israel’s god. Then perhaps his power will no longer be against you, your gods and your land.
