Jeremiah 8:7 - Even storks in the sky know their seasons. Turtledoves, swallows, and cranes are aware of their migration, but my people do not know the requirements of the Lord.
Jeremiah 8:8 - “How can you claim, ‘We are wise; the law of the Lord is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.
Jeremiah 8:9 - The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and snared. They have rejected the word of the Lord, so what wisdom do they really have?

1 Corinthians 1:20 - Where is the one who is wise? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made the world’s wisdom foolish?
1 Corinthians 1:21 - For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of what is preached.
Isaiah 42:19 - Who is blind but my servant, or deaf like my messenger I am sending? Who is blind like my dedicated one, or blind like the servant of the Lord?
Isaiah 42:20 - Though seeing many things, you pay no attention. Though his ears are open, he does not listen.”
Jeremiah 10:8 - They are both stupid and foolish, instructed by worthless idols made of wood!
