  • 2 Kings 23:24 - Josiah also got rid of the mediums and psychics, the household gods, the idols, and every other kind of detestable practice, both in Jerusalem and throughout the land of Judah. He did this in obedience to the laws written in the scroll that Hilkiah the priest had found in the Lord’s Temple.
  • Jeremiah 3:12 - Therefore, go and give this message to Israel. This is what the Lord says: “O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.
  • Jeremiah 22:3 - This is what the Lord says: Be fair-minded and just. Do what is right! Help those who have been robbed; rescue them from their oppressors. Quit your evil deeds! Do not mistreat foreigners, orphans, and widows. Stop murdering the innocent!

  • Ephesians 4:29 - Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
  • Ephesians 4:30 - And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
  • Ephesians 4:31 - Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.
  • Genesis 35:2 - So Jacob told everyone in his household, “Get rid of all your pagan idols, purify yourselves, and put on clean clothing.
