Micah 3:3 - Who also eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones, And chop them in pieces Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron.”
Micah 3:4 - Then they will cry to the Lord, But He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, Because they have been evil in their deeds.
Micah 3:5 - Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets Who make my people stray; Who chant “Peace” While they chew with their teeth, But who prepare war against him Who puts nothing into their mouths:
Micah 3:9 - Now hear this, You heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And pervert all equity,
Micah 3:10 - Who build up Zion with bloodshed And Jerusalem with iniquity:
Micah 3:11 - Her heads judge for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, and say, “Is not the Lord among us? No harm can come upon us.”
Micah 3:12 - Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the temple Like the bare hills of the forest.
Zephaniah 3:1 - Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, To the oppressing city!
Zephaniah 3:2 - She has not obeyed His voice, She has not received correction; She has not trusted in the Lord, She has not drawn near to her God.
Zephaniah 3:3 - Her princes in her midst are roaring lions; Her judges are evening wolves That leave not a bone till morning.
Zephaniah 3:4 - Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people; Her priests have polluted the sanctuary, They have done violence to the law.
Ezra 9:7 - Since the days of our fathers to this day we have been very guilty, and for our iniquities we, our kings, and our priests have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to humiliation, as it is this day.

Isaiah 1:6 - From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, Or soothed with ointment.
