- Isaiah 55:7 - Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
- Isaiah 55:8 - “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
- Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
- Jeremiah 8:4 - “You shall say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Do people fall and not get up? Does one turn away and not repent?

- Hosea 14:1 - Return, Israel, to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your wrongdoing.
- Hosea 14:2 - Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all guilt And receive us graciously, So that we may present the fruit of our lips.
- Hosea 14:3 - Assyria will not save us, We will not ride on horses; Nor will we say again, ‘Our god’ To the work of our hands; For in You the orphan finds mercy.”
- Hosea 14:4 - I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, Because My anger has turned away from them.
- Hosea 2:5 - For their mother has committed prostitution; She who conceived them has acted shamefully. For she said, ‘I will go after my lovers, Who give me my bread and my water, My wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.’
- Hosea 2:6 - Therefore, behold, I will obstruct her way with thorns, And I will build a stone wall against her so that she cannot find her paths.
- Hosea 2:7 - And she will pursue her lovers, but she will not reach them; And she will seek them, but will not find them. Then she will say, ‘I will go back to my first husband, Because it was better for me then than now!’
- Jeremiah 2:20 - “For long ago I broke your yoke And tore off your restraints; But you said, ‘I will not serve!’ For on every high hill And under every leafy tree You have lain down as a prostitute.
- Ezekiel 16:26 - You also committed prostitution with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, and multiplied your obscene practice to provoke Me to anger.
- Jeremiah 4:1 - “If you will return, Israel,” declares the Lord, “Then you should return to Me. And if you will put away your detestable things from My presence, And will not waver,
- Deuteronomy 24:1 - “When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, that he writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her away from his house,
- Deuteronomy 24:2 - and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man’s wife,
- Deuteronomy 24:3 - and the latter husband turns against her, writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand, and sends her away from his house, or if the latter husband who took her to be his wife dies,
- Deuteronomy 24:4 - then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the Lord, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
