Numbers 21:4 - Then they set out from Mount Hor by way of the Red Sea to bypass the land of Edom, but the people became impatient because of the journey.
Numbers 21:5 - The people spoke against God and Moses: “Why have you led us up from Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread or water, and we detest this wretched food!”
Numbers 21:6 - Then the Lord sent poisonous snakes among the people, and they bit them so that many Israelites died.
Numbers 21:7 - The people then came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Intercede with the Lord so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.
Numbers 21:8 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake image and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will recover.”
Numbers 21:9 - So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. Whenever someone was bitten, and he looked at the bronze snake, he recovered.
Numbers 21:10 - The Israelites set out and camped at Oboth.
Numbers 21:11 - They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim in the wilderness that borders Moab on the east.
Numbers 21:12 - From there they went and camped at Zered Valley.
Numbers 21:13 - They set out from there and camped on the other side of the Arnon River, in the wilderness that extends from the Amorite border, because the Arnon was the Moabite border between Moab and the Amorites.
Numbers 20:22 - After they set out from Kadesh, the entire Israelite community came to Mount Hor.
Numbers 33:37 - They traveled from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor on the edge of the land of Edom.
Numbers 33:38 - At the Lord’s command, the priest Aaron climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month in the fortieth year after the Israelites went out of the land of Egypt.
Numbers 33:39 - Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.
Numbers 33:40 - At that time the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard the Israelites were coming.
Numbers 33:41 - They traveled from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
Numbers 33:42 - They traveled from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
Numbers 33:43 - They traveled from Punon and camped at Oboth.
Numbers 33:44 - They traveled from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim on the border of Moab.
Deuteronomy 2:1 - “Then we turned back and headed for the wilderness by way of the Red Sea, as the Lord had told me, and we traveled around the hill country of Seir for many days.
Deuteronomy 2:2 - The Lord then said to me,
Deuteronomy 2:3 - ‘You’ve been traveling around this hill country long enough; turn north.
Deuteronomy 2:4 - Command the people: You are about to travel through the territory of your brothers, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, so be very careful.
Deuteronomy 2:5 - Don’t provoke them, for I will not give you any of their land, not even a foot of it, because I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his possession.
Deuteronomy 2:6 - You may purchase food from them, so that you may eat, and buy water from them to drink.
Deuteronomy 2:7 - For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this immense wilderness. The Lord your God has been with you these past forty years, and you have lacked nothing.’
Deuteronomy 2:8 - “So we bypassed our brothers, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We turned away from the Arabah road and from Elath and Ezion-geber. We traveled along the road to the Wilderness of Moab.
Numbers 22:36 - When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite city on the Arnon border at the edge of his territory.
