Matthew 13:12 - To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.
Daniel 5:20 - But when his heart and mind were puffed up with arrogance, he was brought down from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.

Exodus 10:3 - So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: How long will you refuse to submit to me? Let my people go, so they can worship me.

Isaiah 57:15 - The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.
Isaiah 2:17 - Human pride will be humbled, and human arrogance will be brought down. Only the Lord will be exalted on that day of judgment.

Proverbs 22:4 - True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life.

Psalms 138:6 - Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud.
