  • Judges 16:20 - Then she cried, “Samson, the Philistines are here!” When he awoke from his sleep, he said, “I will escape as I did before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him.

  • 1 Kings 21:8 - So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name and sealed them with his seal. She sent the letters to the elders and nobles who lived with Naboth in his city.
  • 1 Kings 21:9 - In the letters, she wrote: Proclaim a fast and seat Naboth at the head of the people.
  • 1 Kings 21:10 - Then seat two wicked men opposite him and have them testify against him, saying, “You have cursed God and the king!” Then take him out and stone him to death.
  • 1 Kings 21:11 - The men of his city, the elders and nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent word to them, just as it was written in the letters she had sent them.
  • 1 Kings 21:12 - They proclaimed a fast and seated Naboth at the head of the people.
  • 1 Kings 21:13 - The two wicked men came in and sat opposite him. Then the wicked men testified against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth has cursed God and the king!” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.
  • 1 Kings 21:14 - Then they sent word to Jezebel: “Naboth has been stoned to death.”
  • 1 Kings 21:15 - When Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned to death, she said to Ahab, “Get up and take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite who refused to give it to you for silver, since Naboth isn’t alive, but dead.”
  • Revelation 19:20 - But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with it the false prophet, who had performed the signs in its presence. He deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image with these signs. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
  • Mark 14:55 - The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for testimony against Jesus to put him to death, but they could not find any.
  • Mark 14:56 - For many were giving false testimony against him, and the testimonies did not agree.

  • 2 Samuel 13:26 - “If not,” Absalom said, “please let my brother Amnon go with us.” The king asked him, “Why should he go with you?”
  • 2 Samuel 13:27 - But Absalom urged him, so he sent Amnon and all the king’s sons.
  • 2 Samuel 13:28 - Now Absalom commanded his young men, “Watch Amnon until he is in a good mood from the wine. When I order you to strike Amnon, then kill him. Don’t be afraid. Am I not the one who has commanded you? Be strong and valiant!”
  • 2 Samuel 13:29 - So Absalom’s young men did to Amnon just as Absalom had commanded. Then all the rest of the king’s sons got up, and each fled on his mule.
