  • Hosea 10:3 - Then they’ll say, “We don’t have a king. That’s because we didn’t have any respect for the Lord. But suppose we did have a king. What could he do for us?”
  • 1 Samuel 8:5 - They said to him, “You are old. Your sons don’t live as you do. So appoint a king to lead us. We want a king just like the kings all the other nations have.”
