  • Exodus 3:8 - So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.

  • Exodus 3:13 - But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?”

  • Exodus 3:15 - God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.

  • Genesis 6:18 - But I will confirm my covenant with you. So enter the boat—you and your wife and your sons and their wives.
  • Genesis 6:19 - Bring a pair of every kind of animal—a male and a female—into the boat with you to keep them alive during the flood.
  • Genesis 6:20 - Pairs of every kind of bird, and every kind of animal, and every kind of small animal that scurries along the ground, will come to you to be kept alive.
  • Genesis 6:21 - And be sure to take on board enough food for your family and for all the animals.”
  • Genesis 6:22 - So Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him.
  • Genesis 9:1 - Then God blessed Noah and his sons and told them, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth.
  • Genesis 9:2 - All the animals of the earth, all the birds of the sky, all the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the fish in the sea will look on you with fear and terror. I have placed them in your power.
  • Genesis 9:3 - I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables.
  • Genesis 9:4 - But you must never eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it.
  • Genesis 9:5 - “And I will require the blood of anyone who takes another person’s life. If a wild animal kills a person, it must die. And anyone who murders a fellow human must die.
  • Genesis 9:6 - If anyone takes a human life, that person’s life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.
  • Genesis 9:7 - Now be fruitful and multiply, and repopulate the earth.”

  • Genesis 9:9 - “I hereby confirm my covenant with you and your descendants,
  • Genesis 9:10 - and with all the animals that were on the boat with you—the birds, the livestock, and all the wild animals—every living creature on earth.
  • Genesis 9:11 - Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth.”

  • 1 Peter 1:10 - This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you.
  • 1 Peter 1:11 - They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward.
  • 1 Peter 1:12 - They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.
  • Joel 2:28 - “Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.
  • 2 Peter 1:20 - Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding,
  • 2 Peter 1:21 - or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.
