  • Exodus 7:6 - So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded them.
  • Exodus 7:7 - Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three when they made their demands to Pharaoh.
  • Exodus 7:8 - Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
  • Exodus 7:9 - “Pharaoh will demand, ‘Show me a miracle.’ When he does this, say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent. ’”
  • Exodus 7:10 - So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did what the Lord had commanded them. Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a serpent!
  • Exodus 7:11 - Then Pharaoh called in his own wise men and sorcerers, and these Egyptian magicians did the same thing with their magic.
  • Exodus 7:12 - They threw down their staffs, which also became serpents! But then Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.
  • Exodus 7:13 - Pharaoh’s heart, however, remained hard. He still refused to listen, just as the Lord had predicted.
  • Exodus 7:14 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn, and he still refuses to let the people go.
  • Psalms 135:8 - He destroyed the firstborn in each Egyptian home, both people and animals.
  • Psalms 135:9 - He performed miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt against Pharaoh and all his people.
  • Psalms 78:43 - They did not remember his miraculous signs in Egypt, his wonders on the plain of Zoan.
  • Psalms 78:44 - For he turned their rivers into blood, so no one could drink from the streams.
  • Psalms 78:45 - He sent vast swarms of flies to consume them and hordes of frogs to ruin them.
  • Psalms 78:46 - He gave their crops to caterpillars; their harvest was consumed by locusts.
  • Psalms 78:47 - He destroyed their grapevines with hail and shattered their sycamore-figs with sleet.
  • Psalms 78:48 - He abandoned their cattle to the hail, their livestock to bolts of lightning.
  • Psalms 78:49 - He loosed on them his fierce anger— all his fury, rage, and hostility. He dispatched against them a band of destroying angels.
  • Psalms 78:50 - He turned his anger against them; he did not spare the Egyptians’ lives but ravaged them with the plague.
  • Psalms 78:51 - He killed the oldest son in each Egyptian family, the flower of youth throughout the land of Egypt.
  • Psalms 136:10 - Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:11 - He brought Israel out of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:12 - He acted with a strong hand and powerful arm. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:13 - Give thanks to him who parted the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:14 - He led Israel safely through, His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:15 - but he hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 105:27 - They performed miraculous signs among the Egyptians, and wonders in the land of Ham.
  • Psalms 105:28 - The Lord blanketed Egypt in darkness, for they had defied his commands to let his people go.
  • Psalms 105:29 - He turned their water into blood, poisoning all the fish.
  • Psalms 105:30 - Then frogs overran the land and even invaded the king’s bedrooms.
  • Psalms 105:31 - When the Lord spoke, flies descended on the Egyptians, and gnats swarmed across Egypt.
  • Psalms 105:32 - He sent them hail instead of rain, and lightning flashed over the land.
  • Psalms 105:33 - He ruined their grapevines and fig trees and shattered all the trees.
  • Psalms 105:34 - He spoke, and hordes of locusts came— young locusts beyond number.
  • Psalms 105:35 - They ate up everything green in the land, destroying all the crops in their fields.
  • Psalms 105:36 - Then he killed the oldest son in each Egyptian home, the pride and joy of each family.
  • Exodus 3:12 - God answered, “I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.”
