  • Acts of the Apostles 10:34 - Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.
  • Psalms 79:3 - Blood has flowed like water all around Jerusalem; no one is left to bury the dead.
  • Romans 2:11 - For God does not show favoritism.
  • Ecclesiastes 3:19 - For people and animals share the same fate—both breathe and both must die. So people have no real advantage over the animals. How meaningless!

  • Psalms 90:10 - Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear, and we fly away.
  • Leviticus 26:40 - “But at last my people will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me and being hostile toward me.
  • Ecclesiastes 9:5 - The living at least know they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, nor are they remembered.
  • Job 14:14 - Can the dead live again? If so, this would give me hope through all my years of struggle, and I would eagerly await the release of death.
  • Job 34:15 - all life would cease, and humanity would turn again to dust.
  • Numbers 35:15 - These cities are for the protection of Israelites, foreigners living among you, and traveling merchants. Anyone who accidentally kills someone may flee there for safety.
  • Numbers 35:28 - The slayer should have stayed inside the city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest, the slayer may return to his own property.
  • Numbers 35:25 - The community must protect the slayer from the avenger and must escort the slayer back to live in the city of refuge to which he fled. There he must remain until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the sacred oil.
  • Hebrews 9:27 - And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,
  • Job 30:23 - And I know you are sending me to my death— the destination of all who live.
